Gilbert examines the wall, but ultimately he finds nothing. Perhaps what he saw was merely an odd reflection of light off of the walls.
You return back the way you came and a check down the 2 remaining corridors reveals that the northern one splits to the east and west while the eastern one goes down about 30 feet and then turns left.
Darvin gestures toward the north, leading the group toward the T-intersection. He stops just short of the intersection and peeks around the corner, first to the left, then to the right. If there is nothing of particular interest either way aside from hallways, he'll go left.
Looking left you see the tunnel turns right up ahead. Looking right the cave seems to open up into a larger room, but the light is limited from your light spell so you can't see far enough to see anything precise.
You turn left and follow the passage to the right and enter a room about 30 feet deep and 60 feet wide. There are 2 passages than run north
As you move in and approach you see 10 troglodytes sitting or laying around the room. With fear on their faces they leap up and run down the NW passageway.

“Hang on a minute Gentlemen! Are we really going to leave these potential allies, or enemies, to flee without providing any information but let us first consult Tymora to see what she thinks [1-2 = Heads - we approach them / 3-4 = Tails - we ignore them] (4). “Oh well, looks like Tymora doesn’t think we will get anything of use from” Tibi says looking at the coin which has landed at his feet. “So the question facing us now is which way do we go, the north east passage or the eastern passage.” Again he flips the coin [1-2 NE passage / 3-4 East passage] (4). He turns to Darvin saying with a bow “Darvin my friend and colleague, would you be so good as to lead us off down the eastern passage”

Whistler follows the group. Not being one to say much unless it is required, he focuses on keeping his eyes open for any signs of the troglodytes returning as an ambush.
The party turns around based on the luck of a coin toss. They head back the way they came and head east. They pass into an empty room that has a passage that continues east and another that goes south.
"Now which way?" Gil would ask, looking over his shoulder out of fear of Troglodytes. "I say we go left.... " he would say as his ears flap against his face as he continues to turn his head quickly looming for threats.
They find a large room that has an an altar and a statue of an ugly, frog-like creature. On the altar are pieces of rotten meat and 25 gp, 200 sp.
A passage runs south and another to the north.
The passage to the north is different as the walls change from natural cavern and rock to chiseled stone with formed flat walls. At the end of the hallway is an iron door.

Gilbert would trot over to the statue and begin collecting the gold and silver piece and making note of the money in his log book. Once done, he would quickly examine the alter and statue... "Well.. this is interesting. I wonder if they were warshipping this.." he would ask himself excitedly as he looks it over...
Gilbert studied the statue and recognizes it as Laogzed, also known as The Devourer and The Eater of Souls, who was an abyssal demigod of gluttony and wanton destruction. His symbol was an oozing toad-lizard. He remembers that Laogzed was often worshiped by troglodytes who desired to emulate his great corpulence and self-satisfaction.
"The statue here is of the devoyurer and eater of souls... " Gil would say very matter of fact as the last of the coins are collected. "I don't see anything else special about it of we want to keep going." The verdan would say with a smile.

"Uhh... that was a lot of Troglodytes " Gilbert would say hesitantly... clutching his wand and staff..
"So, uh, the other way then?" Darvin starts carefully toward the northeast passage, looking toward the floor for traps or other threats as he walks.
