“Oh I enjoy the company. And... maybe we’re turning in a guard moonlighting as a bandit. After all, we’re not soldiers. You attacked us, and found that good men on the side of right are much more capable than conscripts from who knows where trying to line their pockets with ill gotten gains.”

Brill is toying with lots of ideas still as to how to play this out.
"Oh, is there tea now? Yum." Despite his incessant optimism, Erred pushes a little forward from the group, keeping watch ahead for signs of trouble and generally staying out of sight.
A little ways ahead of the group, Erred ducks behind a tree and takes a moment to get a feel for the woods. He never liked the outdoors - far too unpredictable. He'd take a busy city street any day, but sadly, these were not just any days. After his moment of reflection, he removes the +1 dagger and admires it for a moment, testing its weight in his hands and running a thumb along the last inch of blade at the point. It pricks his finger, and he quickly sucks on it, noting to himself to be more careful in the future. Assuming there was a future to be careful in, that is. Never mind that! he thinks to himself, pulling out a pouch from under his dark, nondescript halfling-size cloak. Let's see what we got. Knowing the weight of a gold piece by feel can only be acquired in two ways - obsession, or practice. Erred had tried it both ways, and preferred practice. Quickly tallying up the coinage, he comes at last to the ornately wrought ring with spiral engravings. He examines it closely, noting the fine craftsmanship. I bet Janu would give me a good price for this he thinks, before catching himself. He wouldn't be seeing Janu, or anybody, from his old life anymore. They had conspired against him, used his debts and sold him to the government as a hired blade. Erred smiles to himself, though not in the joyful, bubbly way he has before among the party. Well, a little well-earned present for me, then. He slips the ring on, admiring it on his thumb for a moment, given the size of human knuckles, before peeking out again from his spot. The babbling prisoner was saying something - why hadn't they shut him up already? Hostage-taking is a high-risk, low reward business, Janu always taught him. Hard to see what good would come of the whiny pimpling. But, these things were not for him to decide. Everybody's got debts to pay. thinks Erred to himself, frowning slightly in thought as he wanders near the party, listening in while keeping a watch.
From where you are located now, it would be one day to estrewood, and two days to tendos camp, that is located behind estrewood, more ore less on a straight line from your spot. How exactly do you go further?
Can I do I tell if Tando is trying to pull something? Perhaps at advantage, since Harrow is an imp full of insight into the motivations of mortals, especially when those motivations are wicked?

holy cow, I feel like these are wasted somehow lol
Brill will cast Friends and hold his hand against Tando’s wrist.
”I don’t think you have what it takes to get out of this curse...” Brill holds up his stump of an arm, implying that he cut off his own hand to escape such a curse.
Gryak acts like he is starting to prepare for some sort of ritual by grabbing two amulets. One of the amulets looks like it is inscribed with holy symbols and the other one is simple copper one.
"Or".. De'ran interjects.. "You could just feed him to me. His partners were rather tasty." He licks his lips. "Might as well finish off the entire meal." His eyes twinkle a little bit as he smiles now, and you can see his teeth start to form into fangs...

Gryak starts weighing a handaxe in one hand and a javelin in the other just to remind Tendo who's in charge.
"So what brings you into this place of war and despair? are you comming for the tea?"

"Estrewood is famous for its tee. Im quite surprised you dont know that."
"Really? I have to take some back to my village. Perhaps that's the reason I was send here? .... No, the signs seemed more important than a new tea."
"So no tea? You are not soldiers, so what really brings you here?"
Brill looks at Tando.
“A funeral, if you aren’t careful. Now shut. Up.”

"I will shut up, but before i'll let you know that you need my help."

Tendo does not seem to have a trick up his sleeve, but he is confident that he can get himself out of this situation.
"Hey Brill! Can you and Harrow help me cast the curse of obedience on this guy?"
Gryak gives a wink to show he's trying to mess with Tendo.
"You know the one that banishes the cursed one to the depths of hell if he betrays or disobeys the casters."
