Skorn nods at Gwyllen. I suppose while we are here we should explore this place fully. I have a bad feeling, but I have had that since we arrived. He walks up the stairs carefully, keeping an eye around him and hammer at the ready.
Can not say that I have, Mr. Greenleaf. I have seen many castles and fortresses, both defending and in siege, but none like this. I would imagine it was resplendent in its better days. Now, it reeks of despair, and I believe the devil Strahd is to blame.

Gwyllen stands at the bottom of the stairs and pulls her the frosty orb out from her robes. Holding it in her palm, fingers outstretched, she blows a breath across its surface and a burst of frost follows the others up the stairs.
As it soars through the air, the form shifts into that of the spirit raven. Fiachra flaps her wings once to finish the ascent and then circles Skorn at the top of the stairs.
“Fiachra will fly ahead of us and alert you of any dangers. This should greatly reduce the chance that we will be taken off guard. You may direct her as to which way you will lead us, and she will scout the pathway for us. I will see through its eyes and hear through its ears. We must be cautious here.”
She pulls her cloak in tightly around her and shuffles up the stairs behind the others.

This wooden balcony overhangs the mansion’s chapel. An exquisitely carved wooden throne rests at the west end between two doors, and narrow archways lead to spiral staircases going up and down. Hanging from the high ceiling is an iron chandelier with candle holders shaped like tiny silver dragons.

Skorn shivers against the cold, and looks skeptically at the raven. I am not used to relying on the arcane like this, but I suppose we will try it your way. Let us continue on. When he gets to the top of the stairs, he will look around and get a feel for the layout.

Fiachra caws loudly at the danger and Gwyllen turns to see that Torvin seems to be intuitively checking for the traps already.
Gwyllen grins - "Looks like you and Fiachra already have a budding friendship there." She turns to Skorn - "See, Skorn? Not so bad for a chilly little spirit bird!"
Gwyllen begins trying to help Torvin discern what Fiachra seems to be so upset about.
Gwyllen leans on her spear, looking between the doors and the Northern hallway. A mischievous grin crosses her face. She pointedly stares at Fiachra and giggles.
The Raven croaks confrontationally and looks at her, hopping and flapping it's wings as if she has spoken to it.
Gwyllen's fingers wiggle in the direction of the North hall, and little Raven foot shaped tracks make a trail toward the traps. Still smiling, Gwyllen drops her hand, watching the tracks burn with a purple flame. She turns to Fiachra again.
"After you, my dear."
Reluctantly, Fiachra walks toward the hallway... And begins hopping back and forth to try and trigger any traps it can find. Gwyllen laughs with Glee and her eyes emit cheerful Sparks, a wave of pleasant energy washing through the room (affecting anyone without resistance to Fey magic with good feelings).
It is ok ill let you have that info
