Skorn looks at Kasimir angrily. So, now what? Do you expect us to fight these golems? Get attacked again by whatever those damned things are in the main hall? We escorted you here to this "abandoned" temple, and still give us nothing but empty promises. If you want us to help you in this place, you must uphold your part of the bargain. Otherwise, I shall throw you to the golem myself.
He is not easliy intimidated. He says " I know something is here to help me with what I need. Only then will you get the sword if I am granted safe passage in this endeavor"
Skorn shakes his head disgustedly. Fine. But then our deal is over, and you go your own way. Come, friends. We will make short work of this thing.
Gwyllen scowls slightly and turns to the Wizard –“Perhaps, Kasimir, you would be willing to help us solve some other quests we have yet to accomplish. Surely the concept of destroying Strahd is not something you disagree with. I, for one, wish you would stay if you feel so inclined. Our party seems to have… a difficult time finding allies around here. All of this is just to say that I have your back and hope you’ll consider me your ally in all this, not someone who considers you to be a stepping stone on the way to a sword.”
Turning to Skorn, she speaks loudly enough for all to hear – “From what I can recall of this creature, it is very resistant to spells.
Lowering her voice she looks Skorn in the eyes and advises quietly– “It may be a better idea to try and use some logic, instead of rushing in to things and treating our potential allies like they are just minor annoyances to be discarded. After all, did we not all meet each other under ridiculous, confusing circumstances? Did we not assist a woman, at great personal peril, for absolutely no reward? Why is helping the wizard any different? Can we not treat him with respect, and hope he joins our party?"

Torvin will walk over to Gywllen and whisper: "We helped Ireena because she was the target of the Devil Strahd and no one else would help her..it was the right thing to do. Reward or no reward.
This Elf asked for our help. For a reward yes but then fails to keep his end of the bargain as yet....knowing the weapon would help us and him stay alive in this place. As far as being a stepping stone for the sword .....he offered it as a means to his end whatever that may be.
He has earned no trust or respect from me and if you try to befriend or trust him I caution you to be very careful. Has he not already said he is trying to bring his dead sister back to life? How will your Patron view your help in that matter?"
Manneo - Having quietly listened to everyone and heard what they had to say he finally decides to speak and looks at Kasimir and says, "Skorn and Torvin are right. You asked us to help you get here and we have done as you asked. Since we have gotten here we have done nothing, but try to help. All I see in return is ungratefulness and petty excuses.", Looking at the rest of the group he says, "This is not our land. These are not our people. Any gods that we may worship...are not here. Now, I apologize if what I am saying is offensive, but it is the truth. I was pushed away from my people and sought solitude...instead I found a mentor and a purpose. If my purpose has changed...then so be it. I may have turned my back on people, but I have found new people to inspire me to do better. If they say that we are done...then we are done."
Torvin will look at Manneo and say: "You are a good man and I am proud to call all of you my friends and I will fight with and for you to the end. I am not saying we leave. We need that sword so we can defeat the Devil and return home. If it means facing Golems and Fireballs....so be it."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gwyllen looks at Torvin thoughtfully - "While I do not think Ireena deserved help any more than anyone else, your words hold merit. My mind is going... I had forgotten his necromantic intentions."
A look of surprise fills her face as Gwyllen’s eye flood with blackness and a wave of nausea floods over her…“You are right about that last part, Torvin…”She begins vomiting blood and feathers on the floor and breathing in great, sobbing heaves.
Reeling around, she wipes a tuft of black from her lip and begins to laugh.“It seems you like to see me beaten by my mother, cleric” she jokes. “Now that she has been invoked, there is little that I can do to hold her back.”
Stepping back from the group, she grips her spear and grimaces, obsidian ochre dripping from her eyes as violet fire licks the shaft of the spear like a ghostly torch. She coughs violently and groans.
Looking at Kasimir – “Are you really planning on bringing her back? She would be nothing but a shell; a rotting corpse. Are you so vain that you think you deserve to have her by your side after what you let happen to her? She may just rip your throat out as she comes from her crypt!”

Gwyllen wipes the awful things from her face on her cloak, still leaning heavily on her spear.
Stumbling over closer to the group, she opens her palm and towards them, her face racked with torment. Making sure that Kasimir is not in view, she closes her eyes, and words begin to appear on her open hand.
Her palm reads - The wizard may be powerful, but he cannot face the Golem alone.
One last sentence replaces the text - - Shall webetray him and leave him to be crushed?

Skorn will go out into the hall and head towards where the golem is supposed to be.
(Do we know if Kasimir brought the sword with us or not?)
Back and ready to DM and chew bubblegum. And I'm alllll outta bubblegum.
Torvin will sigh and say "whats the worst that could happen. Moradin watch over us"
Skorn shakes his head. If Moradin can even see us in this place.
Back and ready to DM and chew bubblegum. And I'm alllll outta bubblegum.
He brought it, however it is wrapped up.
(I mean...Skorn's not gonna kill the guy, but he's not gonna go out of his way to protect him either.)
Back and ready to DM and chew bubblegum. And I'm alllll outta bubblegum.
OOC: It is really up to you all if you wanna continue down the path with him.
(After getting the thing from Crazy Angel (Crangel?), Skorn's convinced we have to get this sword, so he'll grudgingly go along with him.)
Back and ready to DM and chew bubblegum. And I'm alllll outta bubblegum.
