Zack, as you approach the house you take a moment to note your surroundings. The house has a fenced in pen that appears to start in the back and wraps around the front. There are several dead chickens and pigs all over the pen, most look like recent kills with a few small arrows still sticking out of the corpses. The house itself is quite modest, small enough for 1 or two people to live comfortably but not a wealthy lifestyle by any means. Anyone who has spent time in villages run by nobles would likely know that its unlikely the family here owned the stables, more likely they simply were employed there and had a small farm of their own to tend to their own needs for food. Most likely the large stable next door is owned by Lady Nandar, the Waterdavian Noble who rules over Nightstone. The Family living here probably was appointed to the position of Stable Master by the Lady herself, while a position of Honor within most small communities such as this, its unlikely it paid all that well. While looking at the stables you do see a figure standing in the stable though a small window on the wall. It would appear to be a Horse. It doesn't seem to be moving much until the light from the lantern hovers over it. It flicks its ears in annoyance and moves slightly to avoid getting the light in its eyes. It would appear there is at least one living horse that you can see, and its apparently trying to sleep. As you focus your attention back to the house and go to open the door, you try to open the door quietly so you can peer inside, however, as soon as you touch any part of the door, the door falls right off its hinges and slams into the ground with a loud crack!
As the dust settles you get a quick glimpse into the house. The Scene before you is utter destruction. A large boulder has crashed through the center of the home and takes up a majority of the space here. Broken bits of wood and glass litter the floor, shelves are knocked over and the bed is completely crushed. Underneath the boulder lies the body of a Middle aged human women, who appears to have been crushed from her abdomen and below, her eyes gaze blankly at you, dried out and fly eaten after three days of being left to rot. The smatterings of blood in the room are nothing more than dark stains on a dirt floor. The last thing you see in the room is movement from the right corner, you see two Goblins standing up and rubbing their eyes as if they had just been woken up. The Goblins look around for the source of the noise and when they see you their eyes widen and the reach for their blades to attack.
Initiative is as follows: Nadia, Zack Nadaar G2 and G1
Nadia stayed silent after their mini conversation regarding Kella, deciding to just go along with it for now. The other elf didn't seem to have any ill intent behind her words anyway, so Nadia kept drilling into her mind that she was doing this for the good of the surviving townsfolk. Needless to say when she say the woman lying dead on the ground, the ranger needed a second to compose herself. Get a hold of yourself, mijita, just shoot the goblins, just shoot the goblins--
The arrow flying past Zack and into the room striking the furthest Goblin in the chest causing it to stumble back a few steps. The Goblin clutches his chest and cries out in pain as blood rushes out of the wound. The scream sounds especially loud in the otherwise quiet night.
Zack is up. The closest Goblin is just out of melee range but is otherwise dead a head, behind that one is the injured goblin. Theres not a lot of room to maneuver with the boulder taking up much of the space in the home but theres enough room inside for one more person.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zack flinched at the sound, moreso than the corpse, as gruesome as it was.. but he'd seen plenty of bodies in similar, if not worse conditions. He mentally prayed to no one in particular that the womans death was instantaneous. Just as the arrow flashes by him, Zack springs into motion, rushing at the other goblin, and spinning his sword in whatever direction provided the most room to bring his blade to bear, saying sorry just before his blade struck.
Zack, though space is tight you manage to find enough room to make a swing with your sword. However, despite being just woken up the Goblin is alert and Nible and dodges the incoming blow though just barely. Your sword smashes intonation broken wooden table cutting off a section of wood as as if it were butter.
Unable to try end things quick in a single breathe, Nadaar draws a blade, but starts rapping in goblin alongside some rhythmic bobbing gestures.
Knock, Knock, Open up the door its real! With the non-stop. Swish, swish of steel! If ya wanna live, best Kneel or Peel! Or you wind up, *finger snaps* being made Unreal!
As the insidious magic wormed its way into the more weakened goblin's mind, the dragonborn's demanding and somewhat vicious look garners a hint of worry as he glances about for any sign of more goblins awoken by the cry. Only to shake the thought from mind, and instead walk around from the main entryway in at least brief search for a second exit -- a window, side door, hole in the wall -- just any a goblin might take to escape past Zack to the right side of the house.
Action: Nadaar Casts Vicious MockeryWisdom Save(DC 13) or take 2 psychic damage and disadvantage on its next attack.
(I have discovered that I can only do implied insults through raps, and need to work on it.)

I'm unfortunately about to hit my data cap and since I'll be forced to use my mobile to post I'm going to be a bit delayed on my post for the next two days. Theres a small chance I won't be working tonight but its doubtful. Regardless I dont wanna risk the overcharge by juggling my apps so I'll post in about 2 days or if I'm not mandated then tonight.)
(Also unrelated everytime Nadaar raps I immediately think if Killer B which I love)
(I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that! But please take your time Urben and make sure you rest after those heavy shifts too!! We’ll be here when you return c:)
As you finish your rap you notice that the Goblin appears to fine, relatively speaking course, the arrow wound is still bleeding profusely and the Goblin seems to be looking around, either for a way out or possibly for a target. Whatever it's doing it's not being affected by your spell as you had hoped. With your quick search of the room you find that the door Zack is blocking is the main and only real entry/exit to the house. However there is a window close to the Goblins, though it appears the shutters are locked shut so any attempt to flee that way would be obvious and easy to stop. However the most obvious and easily accessible exit would be through the hole in the roof. The boulder appears to be easy enough to climb just from glancing at it, and a Goblin in desperation may attempt to climb up through the hole in the roof, though even then they would be vulnerable while in the attempt.
The uninjured Goblin closest to Zack takes his shoddy looking sword and stabs Zack in the side for 8 Damage. Zack, as the Goblin cuts you, skillfully finding open spaces between your armor, hensays to you in common "Apology accepted Human! Now die!" At first it looks as though the Goblin means to attempt to disengage and retreat, but seemingly emboldened by its success, it stands to fight, a look of smug confidence clear on its ugly face.
The injured Goblin is clutching its wound and looking desperately for a way out. The Goblin eventually turns its attention to the boulder and stows its weapon. Disengaging from the fight he starts to climb up to the top of the boulder, which for a creature of ita size is especially large. But using all the speed it can muster and utilizing the natural handholds in this large rock, it manages to get to the top of the boulder.
Nadia is up. G2 is still unharmed and is still in front of a now severely wounded Zack. The wounded Goblin is on top of the rock, out of range of melee but exposed to ranged attacks, from where you are it's clear that if the injured Goblin makes it to the roof it could easily escape to the other side of the house, however if the uninjured goblin gets another hit like that on Zack you're not sure he will survive it.
For a split second, Nadia's mind was racing to make a decision; Zack was badly hurt and that goblin managed to obtain all the cojones to strike him once, no doubt he would strike him again to bring him down, but if the other goblin makes it out, he could alert his other friends to their position, then this mission could get a lot worse for the three of them. She just hoped Zack would see her reasoning behind why she aimed her arrow at the goblin on the rock and shot her arrow at him instead.
The Goblins back is turned to you as its reaching towards the roof trying to get up. With a sudden jerk the Goblin falls forward and falls off the rock and becomes a limp, unmoving pile on the ground.
Zack tenses hard from the stab, having apparently misjudged his assault, locks him up momentarily, until the goblin pulled the janky blade free. After a few fumbling steps, the goblin having managed a much more serious blow than he anticipated them capable. After a second of catching his breath, and gathering his footing, with his blade on the opposite side of where he had struck from, normally Zack would get more defensive at this point, but the arrow sailing past his head was like the raindrop seen in the final strike of a samurai's duel, just as the bolt whistled past, so too did he raise his blade, wasting only the time it took to bring the sharp end to bear, before the muscles in his arms flexed, as the blade made a return trip the way it came. Hoping to finish the fight, before the fight finished him.
As your sword starts its downward motion the Goblin starts a motion as to dodge the heavy blade. However his foot gets stuck in a bit of debris and he finds he is unable to move, his confident smirk quickly turns to an expression of fear before the blade strikes him hard, right in the skull. The blade doesnt cleave the Goblin in two, but is set through the creatures head about halfway to the neck.
Nadaar, you see the two Goblins dispatched within a moment of each other. Just as you're about to relax you hear the tell tale sound of footsteps above you and to the right. Looking up you see another Goblin as taken up position on the roof of the stables and is preparing to fire an arrow at Nadia.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Sorry this was a day late and a dollar short, Urben! But here it goes!)
Nadaar's eyes go wide for just a second catching sight of the threat. He starts to shout out a warning to Nadia. But midway into stretching a hand out to her, he stops to narrow his focus back on the goblin. A multitude of symbols, numbers, and more flashes in mind before he rushes closer to the stables, the acrid scent of burnt cinnamon and something far more unpleasant abruptly building up around him along the way. If he could get within thirty feet of at least roofing supporting the goblin's footing, Nadaar takes one final breathe before unleashing a deluge of amber colored acid up at the goblin,
And if not, the scent remains, but he chokes back the budding deluge of acid to instead deliver more sick burns to goblin... of the lyrical variety!
Acid Breathe Damage if able to get within 30ft:
Action: Nadaar unleashes his Dragon Breathe - Dex Save(DC 11) to save for half of 2 acid damage.
(Not sure if it'll matters/possible, but hoping for the line to encompass part of the roof to stabilizing the goblins footing as well.)
If not, Vicious Mockery Damage with lyrics included:
"Here comes of the ghost of right now! Bow at the steady, in blight town! Hah! Just take a lesson from Meezy, And just take easy, Pleasy, Least you find yourself getting weepy, From when you fail so simply easy!"

Nadaar is able to get within range and unleashes amber colored acid towards the would be archer. The Goblin screams as the acid burns into its skin but the scream is short lived, as the sound is replaced with the creaking of weakened wood. Suddenly the Goblin is no longer on the roof as the wood beneath his feet snaps even from the relatively low wait of a Goblin. You hear the horses in the stable start to panic as the start neighing loudly and bucking in their stables.
Despite the noise you see no further Goblins approaching though if there are more in town you all feel certain your presence has been noted. For now it seems though that combat is at an end
Zack had no idea what Nadaar was doing, until he heard the screams and a moment later groaning wood. heh.. good man... just before he coughed up some blood, spattering over the goblin he had slain, before collapsing to one knee, his sword clattering loudly to the ground as the adrenaline faded, sapping him of the temporary strength it granted him. Managing to get his hands behind him, his breathing grew heavier as he clutched at his deep wound. Slowly allowing himself to lie prone, on his back, he looks up, whether he see's the roof, or the night sky, he would, say Welp.. we did it... we got em... I think. But.. I uh... I think i need to lie down for a bit.... a small trickle of blood flowing from his would, pooling just beneath him. Can we uh... stay here for a bit? I just need to close my eyes.... he says, before his head thuds on the floor - Eyes closing. Not dead, but clearly deathly exhausted.
Nadia turned back and blinked at the dead goblins that Nadaar just eviscerated with acid breath. "Woah..." Was all she could muster before turning back to him with a grin. "Good eyes, dude! Those guys could've got the drop on us if you didn't spot 'em." When she sees that right now it was quiet (for the most part), she lowers her bow then looks to the now prone Zack taking a well deserved rest. "I don't have a problem with lettin' the big guy rest. He needs it since he's been eating all the blows..."
If Nadaar doesn't protest, Nadia will sit down near Zack and keep her eyes and ears peeled for any sounds or movements.
Nadaar just hacks and coughs for a while, but eventually disgorges another last spurt of acid on the ground just before his face. It sizzles and smokes where it scores the ground. But Nadaar casually wipes his mouth against a sleeve without further discomfort, and grins crookedly to the others. One that wavers back and forth between amused and feigned to hide worry for a thoughtful moment. "A more thoughtful mind however would've accounted better for the horses... and a less selfish heart might offer--"He pauses, frowns for a second, and then with a huff through the nose, he sheathes the longsword in approaching the fallen Zack.
"It matters not. But at least we've confirmed the trickster's instincts to be right about the horse... 'less that horse was her's in the first place. And in which case, nevermind. But upsy daisy, my friend. A time for rest, I can abide, but not one so deep you may truly die." He says with a chuckle, slipping a hands under pits to aid in at least moving him to a wall out of immediate sight from one looking into the house from the front door at least. "I should remember that one for the next time I meet Brynhilda. That northerner will surely get a kick out of that one. Let's dim that light there, and see if we at least bind those wounds." He says, pulling out what bandages or spare shirt he might have in his pack, and tearing it without hesitation to start binding wounds.
