This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hmm I think I've seen some of the priests of our order using these to send messages. Magic paper."
Shadinn Shrugs, and looks around the room to see if any of the dust has been disturbed other than by the other members of the party. or if this is dead end and they should search somewhere else. (Perception 19)
(So how do I use artificer's lore, or how do I even know if this skill is applicable to gain some clues about the paper? I just woke up so I don't know if that question makes sense. Lol)
"Eh, well that's odd. Awful interesting works of magic. Say we take em with us, never know when they'll be useful." Lassodon says "Figure we each grab a few in case?" He says giving everyone 2 of the paper birds

Yeah I saw that I didn't know if that would allow me to investigate the pages or find more information from them --who they are from any hidden writings etc) and I didn't know exactly what to roll for that either.
Gimble takes the Pages from Lassodon's hand. "Thanks. What an intriguing piece of magic." He flips it over inspecting it to see if anything can be garnered from the paper, new, old, used, reusable, etc. History check 25
Gimble then helps Shadinn inspect the room. 20 "Let me help you out big guy!"
Shadinn tries to figure out where the wires lead to, and asks Humble for help.. If he finds nothing then he will give up and explain that perhaps it is time to search for Floon.
There are two wooden crates here. The first contains four wood-framed paintings wrapped in leather. The paintings depict the cities of Luskan, Neverwinter, Silverymoon, and Baldur’s Gate and are worth 75 gp each
The second crate, contains fifteen 10-pound silver trade bars, all black from corrosion but still worth 50 gp each
As you leave you see a dozen men armed with crossbows and longsword slam down the door, and a man in front with a City Watch Uniform shouts to you "Put your hands where we can see them!"
Bar tucked in his armor Jonas sheaths his sword and raises his hands. "Watchman? Thank goodness we've got wounded here. I'll be alright but this man has been held captive and his Lordship needs a cleric or healer. "
Lassodon puts his hands up. "Ey, like he said. We came in ere lookin for someone and a bunch of kenkus from one of them gangs came afta us." As Lassodon slowly and carefully if they let him leads the guards into the warehouse towards the kenkus bodies

Shadinn slowly raised his hands, head bowed slightly.
"It is good that you have arrived, although you may be a little late. We are on the side of light, can we be of assistance, we have captured one of the Kenku my small friend speaks of alive."
How far away are the rats?
Gimble would like to look around the room as the group progresses as well. I have dark vision if it helps. 3
If the rats become aggressive I'd like to have magic missles at the ready. One per rat on closest aggressors.

Feeling a gaze over his shoulder Jonas will will hand over a few of the sheets. "Make any sense to you?"
Lassodon will also look at the papers and see if I recognize the engravings on it.

Yah,
You find a secret room in the wall
There are two wooden crates here. The first contains four wood-framed paintings wrapped in leather. The paintings depict the cities of Luskan, Neverwinter, Silverymoon, and Baldur’s Gate and are worth 75 gp each
The second crate, contains fifteen 10-pound silver trade bars, all black from corrosion but still worth 50 gp each
"I have found something which may aid us in our quest, here take some of these"
Shadinn exclaims handing out the silver bars.
"I'm not sure if we can carry the paintings but perhaps we could sell them at that curiosity shop that's nearby?"
With the loot divided Shadinn prepares to leave the warehouse.
"Shall we go back to the Yawning portal, or does anyone know how to get to the sewers so we can follow this yellow trail?"
As you leave you see a dozen men armed with crossbows and longsword slam down the door, and a man in front with a City Watch Uniform shouts to you "Put your hands where we can see them!"
