In a more silent and friendly tone Severiss asks the half-orc, “Do you want to get back to that? Do you want to escape this place? Surely, Xanathar amd his guild suffer great detriments without you in their ranks. Surely, you don’t want anyone other than you to claim that they are his best enforcer.”
Do we know who has the keys to our cells and the exit from the prison?
"Uhh, I guess so, would be nice to get back to that and they still haven't told me what my prison sentence is so I'd guess it's the rest of my life, Kronven, he worked in my guild, also the guy who got me arrested, I have no idea why everyone says he was in the Waterdeep government but I'm guessing something is up with that pristine prick, but yes, I would like to escape, and also strangle him. And figure out why Kronven is both a Xanathar member and a former member of the council, and how he got away with getting in there, the council usually knows who has a, less favorable reputation from guilds"
No, though you can read the last post I did for who has keys :/ that you know of
Caz - Returning to the cell will pull out an article of clothing and will place the breakfast bar into the clothing, fold it up, place it near the middle of the rest of the clothes filled with other breakfast bars, and leave the cell. Cefrey is walking down the walkway when she hears Cadin yelling at someone to 'Stop fighting!', and walks over to see him speaking to a large Bugbear and a small goblin. So, Cefrey decides to saunter over to what the commotion was about and hears the Bugbears complaint about not getting enough to eat to which Cefrey thinks, "Is that so? Perhaps I can have a different use for my breakfasts." After hearing what it was about Cefrey decides to walk up to Cadin and says, "Cadin...I'm so glad I found you...if you're not too busy I was wondering if I could talk to you...privately."
*Sigh* Unphased "What is it this time? You got the same complaint as big brain over there? Anything to get me away from these lunatics who I have to watch over all day, complaints from one person are better than complaints from 10 people"
Caz - Not being discouraged says, "No, of course not if that were the case I would have said it already, but it is a private matter and I would prefer it to stay private." And they start to walk back towards her cell.
OOC: On my phone when I turn it sideways it won't let me let me finish and click Ok on the roller...using real dice.
Caz - Smiling at Cadin says, "No nothing like that, but perhaps a more tit for tat sort of deal." She will reach out and put her hand on his arm and say, "Surely there must be something that we can come terms over. I have quite the network of connections...connections that most could only dream about. Tell me what do you want? What is something in your life that you never dreamt that you could have?"
"Well, I guess there is something I would like, you see, I had to come here because my hometown, Tarrin, is suffering in both economics and food, and so I decided to work here as they had fairly high pay, though it doesn't seem the pay is good enough to support the entire town. So if you could help with that then we might be able to strike a deal."
Caz - Looking at Cadin says, "Hmmmm...that is a noble request and a lofty one at that, however I can assure that if we do strike this deal I can help your town in the "economics" of its problems and the food will come with time. Of which, the price is something that you won't even miss and won't be collected upon until much later.", She extends her hand and says, "What do you say?"
Caz - In her head she will call forth the emmisary of her patron to take witness of the deal. Grasping Cadins hand tightly will say as Cefrey, "I didn't say free. Nothing in life is "free". My word is my bond. The deal we make here today will be binding for your hometown of Tarrin to become economically stable and to thrive, in exchange for your soul to go to my patron that will not be collected upon for 10 years from the binding of this contract...this is a generous amount of time for you to enjoy with your family and friends, so if you want to quit this job and enjoy your life now is the time."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“That’s right. The human. It’s his fault that you are here. Obviously he conspired against you. That little worm. No loyalty, no trust. I am disgusted even talking about him, can’t imagine how you feel. Surely, you want to end his miserable existence?”, Severiss leans closer to the half-orc, almost whispering the words in his ears. His tone being warmer and friendlier than ever, that of a knowing and old and trustworthy friend. Persuasion to convince him to kill Kronven: 22
"Hmm, I guess I do... He's been on my nerves ever since, we were sent here, and probably before too.. But first I wanna figure out how he got on the council." (Don't think because I did that any check will succeed, it was a DC 10 check because Ranaldin already hated Kronven)
And Caz, as you finish the deal, you see a new Aasimar, one you've never seen before, come up to you, he says in a voice that of a pristine, probably high ranking Aasimar, "Caz, please follow me. It is urgent"
Cad - Seemingly shocked by this new arrival and even more shocked that this new person knew his actual name followes warily. While walking attempting grab onto the homeade dagger just in case it was needed. Attempting to put on a smile as Cefrey says, "Urgent? What could possibly ever be urgent in a place such as this?"
"You'll see urgent soon enough" Alright, you manage to get yer dagger, as you arrive in the room, The Aasimar say "Oh man, it's been a looong time since I've seen you, and I'm not too happy about it either, Caz the Changeling."
Caz - Feeling even more uneasy now that this person not only knows his name, but his race is seriously unnerving and as Cefrey tries to play it off by saying, "Ah! I get it, you seem to have the wrong person. My name is Cefrey and...(using the hand not holding a dagger gestures towards her body)...I am clearly not a channeling." She then clears her throat.
"Haha, I know who you are, how could I forget you? We were both in the same village." He changes into a spectral, misty form "You're the guy who killed your father, and has already killed dozens all to save his little brother, you may have not heard of me, Kronven, back then but you never remembered anyone's name, and I set off to go get a career in the Xanathar Guild, and after working there for a while, I heard of your, "deal", with Lady Fierna, you killin' your dad, yada yada yada and so I decided I wanted to see you in person, and see how strong you were because of that deal which proved quite difficult as soon after you were sent to W.I.C. and so I decided to commit a crime bad enough to end up here, which would be getting into the council with my changeling powers and killing one of the council, which worked, and I ended up here, so now that I'm here, in my true form, how do your Demonic Pen-pal Powers compare to my fighting skills?"
