You may RP as much as you want. This is only to establish whether the party will be traveling or resting this night. Again you have been awake for a full day and have two hours of traveling before you begin to experience exhaustion.
Envrionment Action: The ground begins to split from the force of the earthquakes! Buildings can be seem being swallowed by the earth! Roll a Dex Save or Athletics Check to avoid the expanding crevasses! Your choice between the two. DC - 10
Failure: You lose your footing and fall. You spend half of your normal speed to stand back up (not an action)
Ravetha gets tripped up by the ground the suddenly rose just enough to catch the front of her foot. You use 17' of movement to stand back up!
(There are a lot of civilians within view, it is virtually impossible to save them all.) You run 17' ahead saving another 1 citizen(s)! (you are 13' away form the city gates)
If Djorg also decides to still help you rescue the civilians: 3 <- This was also 4 before i edited the post... i dont know why it changed.
(I applaud your dedication to saving the citizens. Make a DC-8 Charisma Check with advantage since Djorg is helping you) On a success, you both rally a group to help you and save 2d10 citizens! [4] Actually, why dont you roll it, to see how many you save on this one?!
My roll in the spoiler was 4 it changed the amount when i crossed it out
(For reference, Ravetha won't be going through the threshold until it looks like the area's cleared. That includes attempting to go back for people. Just letting you know ahead of time as from tomorrow about this time I'm going to be out of town and probably not have access to DDB that easily until Monday.)

(no worries, weekends are usually tough for me to post really. I will try to update the thread at least once per day)
Ravetha & Djorg: 13' away from the city gates. Inspiring others to help save people. Saving a total of 22 people on the way!
Sarah & Ulfgar: Beginning their sprint toward the gate, Ulfgar heals Sarah for 5 HP who then dashes right after to reach the gates. (Sarah is 10' from the Gates) (Ulfgar: 35' from the gates)
Tama: After receiving several blows form falling debris. Scoops a small child off the ground with his trunk and arrives at the city gates. He holds his position at the threshold, ushering people past the gates and keeping an eye out for any that may need help
Round 4:
Envrionment Action: The city begins to perish into the ground the ocean begins to rush in from the ports filling the crevasses that have been formed by the earthquakes.. Ships are crashing into buildings. Seeing this you can tell that the waters should stop roughly 30' away from the gates. The water will reach the 30' line on the environments next turn! (No check needed just do your actions relevant to the scenario)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Go! Go! Keep going!" Ravetha will keep getting people through the gates, staying beside them. She does one last quick scan for any stragglers. (She has Action Surge for an extra dash if plausible to save someone else)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ravetha,
As you reach the threshold you do a quick scan and see that most of the people who are going to make it have made it. There are 2 others, that look like they are just too far into the "flood zone" for them to reach safety in time on their own. They are 40' from the city gates.
So given Ravetha's 17' away, she's closer. Her elven speed might be enough to pull them into the threshold (if permitted). Would you like a check of some kind (Athletics etc.)?
If you are going to pull the person. Im going to have you do an athletics check DC-7 since its only 1 person. Succeed you can move your full speed with the person in tow as the civilian matches your speed with you pulling. Failure means that you are reduced 25' move speed to match the civilian who is holding you back.
Ravetha rushes over to the straggling civilian. "I've got you!" She tells them. "Don't let go." She pulls them into her arms and begins to rush as quickly as she can ([action]Dash[/acion] with an Action Surge to boot) towards the gate.
once Sarah had exited the city she would look around the swamp lands the note mentioned for her
Sarah knows that the swamp is about 1.5 days of travel away. Her family would have gone there because there are villages that are constructed to be above the flood plain.
