Alessandra was the last to leave that night, slipping into the bed with Misha in the nude (as she preferred to anyways). In the ‘morning’, she roused with a hand between her thighs and an offer she simply couldn’t refuse.
Ain’t no cryin’ in the club, hey hey
“We should offer him the birthday special,” Alessandra quips as she brings the glass of wine to her lips to take a sip. “He can’t say we didn’t treat him well if we do that.” When asked for a private feeding she puts her glass down and looks to Victor with a sly smirk on her face. “Of course, my dear. Come.” She grabs him by the hand and pulls him into one of the private rooms of the club.
Feelin’ lucky? 19 (as rolled in discord)
Victor is one lucky boy. “Hey, did you know it’s my birthday today too?” Alessandra comments idly when she clicks the door shut behind them, turning to him with a smile dancing on her lips now. “I think we can have a little fun before the visit. We can make it quick, promise.”
If not denied, they will start talking about the Christian Gospel ;)

Alana, lost in thought for a moment, laced her fingers together, resting her chin on them in thought as she scans the crowd below. After a moment she stands from the table and approaches one of her guards in the VIP section, whispering something to him for a few minutes.
We have an important guest attending the club later tonight, have my office rearranged to fit the coterie and our guest. Make sure there are refreshments and the room is spotless. Increase the security tonight. Better safe than sorry, and have the upper VIP floor closed off when our special guest arrives, tell the others they are welcome to the downstairs private rooms free of charge. See that when we go into my office to discuss business, we are not disturbed for anything less than a dire circumstance. Understood? If you feel it is important enough for my input, send a message to my cell.
The guard seems to nod and moves to speak to the others upstairs as Alana strides to the bar, fetches herself another glass of whine, and returns to the booth. "I have made arrangements for the meeting in my office. That seemed to be the general consensus. I've had the security increased for the evening just in case as well." Her ears perk to the sound of more recent trendy music as she thinks for a moment. "Can anyone think of anything else we should do to prepare?"

Victor met back with the others for the first time that day after finishing his breakfast and his 'discussion' with Alessandra. Like her, he was glowing as he took his spot and sipped on some scotch, allowing Alana to set the arrangements for what would happen during the meeting.

Sorrin is treating his blade, cleaning and maintaining it as Victor and Aless return from their talk about the gospel. "Normally the officer wants us to deal with others of our world. So we could expect to be dealing with either another of our kind, some nature of monster or perhaps even a mage." He checks the edge of his blade then sheathes it, "Regardless, I doubt he'd come to us if it was something a mortal could handle, so we best be ready to face combat or some other challenge."
"The Detective ees here. I weel go get heem."she said, and strode out of the room.
Detective Webber entered the building. Looking around, it was evident that he didn't feel comfortable in the Bliss. Walking downstairs, it was hard to miss Misha as she came down. She wore a pleasant face, strained to the limit of friendliness but not showing distaste.
"Deetecteev Weeber."she nodded politely to him. "Eet ees a pleasure to see you again. Misha Praskovia."she extended her hand and gave him a firm handshake. He did the same. "Welcome to the Bliss. Sheriff Stokes told us to expect you. We have made arrangements."
He nodded skeptically. He knew working with Vampires to solve certain crimes was something of value, but he still didn't trust them completely. "Miss Praskovia." he half smiled and nodded. "Thank you. Good to see you, again. Is there somewhere we could talk?" he asked politely - eager to get down to business.
She turned, looking at him, gesturing upstairs. "Of course. Plees. Come weeth me."
Misha opened the door to the office. "Everyone, Detective Webber."She closed the door behind him after he walked in stood at relaxed attention by the rest of the group. Misha rarely sat. It was a strange behavior no one really understood.
Sorrin didn't move from his sitting position to the side of the room. Though he did look up from his thoughts to acknowledge the detective, giving the man a curt and polite nod. Other than that, he didn't move, believing it best to let the lady of the house speak first. That being said, he was still cautious enough to keep a hand ready on his blade, super-speed and reflexes didn't give an excuse to let your guard down.
Alana sat calmly behind her office desk, the chairs a simple dark leather, comfortable but stylish. She had pulled her leather jacket on over her studded tank top to make herself look a little more modest and formal, after all, dress to impress. As Misha entered with Detective Webber, Alana stood, locked eyes with him with a polite smile, and stepped around her desk, hand extended. "Detective Webber. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I'm Alana Vesper, one of the two owners of this establishment. Please. Take a seat and we can begin our conversation. The sheriff would not have requested your presence here if it was not important."
After a polite handshake, Alana gestures to the other leather chairs and strides back to her desk, the other chairs circling it in a semi circle. She laces her fingers together and with a friendly and attentive look, rests her chin on them. Guards were positioned on the other side of the soundproof doors, Alana's phone placed on her desk, conveniently out of sight of the others but visible to herself. She needed to make sure she would see any message that would come through just in case. She patiently waited for the Detective to begin.

"Thank you." The detective said, sitting down. He quickly glanced around the room, looking at everyone, feeling a bit outnumbered. He did his best to relax. "As you know, Sheriff Stokes wouldn't have sent me if this wasn't important, and you all have an up and coming track record in the vampire community. But, we have a problem the Sheriff thinks you can solve."
He took a moment to take some files and pictures out of his briefcase. He lays them for everyone to see on Alana's desk.
"Two victims have been found dead in two different places in Denver." He takes out a photo of the first victim. "This was Simon Drummer. He was found four days ago, tucked away in a storm drain. Unfortunately, the recent rain has made a mess of the crime scene." Looking at the photo, Simon appears to be a strapping young man in his early twenties. He gives off the impression of being an "all-American young man" and is seen in the photo posing in a football sweater of his team.
"Victim number two." Detective Webber pushes over another photo. "Carl Thrush. Found two days ago in a copse of trees, splayed on a rock and emptied of blood. That's when I contacted Samantha. The site has been cleared so far but little else of note was found. Carl was a man in his mid-thirties, who lived in his parents basement - and was unemployed."
But there's something off about this photo. Who can spot it? Here's our first test: Make an Intelligence + Finance (Difficulty 3) to see if any of you can spot it. Make the roll in discord. Note what you get. Remember to add your 1 hunger dice. If you Messy Crit or Beast Fail, make sure you remember so I can describe the outcome. Remember, it's !v5 <dice pool> <hunger dice> <difficulty>, so !v5 6 1 3 for example.
If you want, you can spend a point of WILLPOWER (cross off the first box starting on the left with a "/" to reroll up to three dice in your pool after your roll. To do this, you hit one of the "reaction" buttons underneath the results of the roll. Let me know if this doesn't make sense.
"Sheriff Stokes wants you guys to check out a couple of places to see if you can find anymore clues. I've purposely stalled this investigation back at the station so you guys could have some time to see if you can come up with anything."
Alana studies the images quietly for a minute (3 sucesses- Overall Regular success) before speaking calmly, her eyes not leaving the pictures. "Is there anything else that we should be informed of? Any hunches of the culprit or their whereabouts?"
Alessandra cocked a brow at the photos, her arms folding themselves across her chest, leaning a bit forward as she trains her eyes on the pictures to try and spot if there was something off about them (failed as rolled on discord). She straightens her back when she sees nothing, her white eyes now going onto the detectives as she waits patiently for him to answer Alana's questions.

Sorrin also looks over at the pictures, taking their image into his mind to visualize it internally. (rolled a "messy critical" on check XD, not sure how that applies in this case) Figuring that something seemed off, he kept quiet and went over exactly what was off in his head as he looked again at the picture.

For a moment as the beast within Sorrin swells inside him, his supernatural presence bleeds out, daunting those caught unaware. For the other kindred in the room, the air around Sorrin feels heavy with bloodlust and a desire to kill. However, to the mortal detective, Sorrin might appear like a towering monster ready to pounce upon him.
Barely holding onto his composure, Sorrin quickly stands right beside the detective and stares over him at the picture, closely inspecting it as his iris' turn from their usual silver grey to a crimson red. For a moment, he is quiet until with barely contained bloodlust, he asks, "....was Carl connected to any crime? Or where there any strange objects or symbols in his home?"
Victor's pleasant and distracted expression fades as he senses the disturbance in the room. Damn it, Sorrin. He stands up and quickly moves over to him. "Control the beast and sit down."

He made eye contact with her and mouthed the words "Upstairs. After this."
