(using the ferry as a little spot to talk a bit more before going into possible action)
During the short ferry ride Kravek will respond to the others. Even in this we are divided. Hmm.. He then looks to Rixton. Perhaps leader is not a good term then, how about role. I have been in skirmish parties that have different 'leaders' for different tasks. To coordinate what they do best.
He looks around for a moment. We will need one to speak for the group and one to coordinate battles at the very least.Other matters are less pressing.
Kravek will not name people for jobs and leave that for the group to decide.
( I also have wanderer but ill let Kallak do the advantage one and ill do a normal one, since it also speaks of memory of the map and Kravek will look for different things).
After arriving on the island Kravek will squat down to grab some dirt with one hand and move it through his hand while he looks around taking a deep breath. He then gets up again standing tall to see a little further looking left and right to try and see if he can find any sign of creatures living here or determine if something has travelled here recently.
(survival 9)
(edit: i see our posts overlap, no matter the roll wasnt much anyway haha)
Would this be a main way to get to the places of interest on the island? Or does it seem like a very off-the-map sort of entrance, assumedly on purpose?
Kallak grunts at Olive. "Mm. A tome. Helps you communicate better. No idea where it could be."(Does Kallak have any idea where it could be, from her memory of maps?) "Palisade? You like maps. Thoughts?"
Olive, you pick up on a few trails that look a lot less worn. With some sort of foot traffic associated with it.
"It is deep." He says as he prepares to leave, "To travel from this tip to the other could take days." he finishes up untying some rope and hopping back on the ferry, "Narrow though." The ferryman doesn't wait long before he shoves off and starts to sail away.
(because its been a while, King Fireheart is asking you to retrieve a Tome that he knows the chromatic dragonborns are looking for. You know this island is inhabited by Yaun-Ti and Lizardfolk. They should be in theory, as far as you all know, neutral to the war as is custom for most of Frell. You probably have some cursory knowledge that Yaun-Ti are often building temples and structures for rituals and worship. While Lizardfolk tend to roam the wild as hunters.)

Palisade shakes his head at the suggestion of messing with the form of the imp. While the idea would be amusing he would still have to deal with the telepathic complaining from Malizath. "If we are not having a leader then as stated coordination is not a bad idea. For now though we should make sure to stay as close together as we can so that we do not get separated in unknown territory."

Kai shrugs and reiterates, "Talking is probably still my best role.... And maybe scouting." He speaks with clear reservation. "I'm not keen on the idea of being the first to run into danger though."
Once the team hits the island, Kai makes for some cover at the edge of the tree line before surveying the area with the others. "Maybe we just travel the coast for a while? Water is a major resource, we're bond to run into an outpost or at least a fishing trail at some point."
Rixtonstrolls off of the ferry, examining the landscape.

Using his spear as a walking stick, he paces a near perimeter to their landing site. "I can certainly handle logistics," he says at last. "And I have a...way...with people, for whatever reason." He sniffs somewhat at that last statement, as if unhappy about it. "For now, we need to pick a way to go. One suggestion was to follow the water. What makes the most sense is that a valued object would be kept inland, though. We can follow the shore but ultimately, we will have to go that way." He points away from the shoreline.
"Safe bet locals won't be friendly," Kallak says, looking into the leaves and vines for lizardfolk and Yuan-Ti signs of civilization. "Specially if they want to keep the tome. Options are: sneaking, bluffing, fighting our way through. But we have no idea where it is. Need information. Need friends who have it. I can find books if they're within 1000 feet. Couple times a day. Might be useful."
Kallak once again swoons from talking so much, taking a walk around through the underbrush to clear her mind. You can tell she's got wisdom to share, and wants to help, even if it's a struggle.

Seeing the group not come to an agreement yet Kravek grunts Hmmrgh
He then starts walking to the trail leading into the jungle saying We should get out of the open, the jungle will provide cover
With a steady walk he will not look back and keep going untill he just enters a few feet into the jungle or untill he sees any other creature first.
(Perception 13)
He has his shield out during his walk but his hammer is still in his beltloop. He doesnt look down but his right hand is on the head of the hammer as his finger goes over the rune carving on it. As he keeps walking and looking at the jungle treeline he speaks to himself in giant.

Kallak looks at Rixton, wondering if he didn't hear her at all. "This is going to be fun," she says, with a sigh, ranging a bit off the trail and holding her axe at the ready.
"Yes, yes, let us know which path had the right book on it then," Rixton says to Kallakas she distances herself. "Oh, we aren't within 1000 feet of it yet? Who could have guessed."
alright guys, marching order and perception please. the road is pretty narrow you could probably go two by two if you wanted but it would be tight especially if anyone is in bulk armor.
Think I said Kallak was ranging a bit to the side of the path, so she'll be about ten feet to the left in the undergrowth midway down the marching order>

Kai watches as Kravek brushes passed him into the forest. As the others approach he falls into line after Rixton. The musician subconsciously reaches back to check his shortsword. Since this morning he has strapped his typical weapon to the side of his pack and often draws it testing the new location. His 'new' weapon is tucked safely away under his cloak for now.
Since Kravek took the lead he will stay in front of the line and wait till everyone is near him before moving forward. Being as large as he is compared to most others he will make a path wide enough for the others to walk through where needed.
He will keep an eye out for tracks as well.

Olive points at a trail, "Lets take that one. Rixton, do you agree?"
"Unless anyone can track a book through a jungle, one path is as good as the next," Rixton says as they head off.
