Then turning to the group, "Well with looking at the layout and from memory of what the Father was able to tell us. We should probably circle the camp to see if there is a more defensible approach or one that we can sneak up on the inhabitants. Also we should look for any that are off on their own and deal with smaller groups instead of hitting them head on." Then she pauses for a moment, "Or the other option is through caution to the wind and approach the camp and see if there is a diplomatic solution to our problem. Obviously this route can prove disastrous to us."
“If we are thinking this is a enemy we simply need to get rid of, I could sends some minions in tonight to do some damage, then do the same again tomorrow morning, and then we could go in and deal with the remaining enemy.” Gotch says with a shrug. He is suggesting casting his summon lesser demons spell before a long rest, then again after one. Might not really be too helpful int he long run, as that many enemy will probably deal with the demons rather easily, but it is about all he has right now.
Salys frowns as he listens to the ideas, "Are any of you quiet enough, or your familiars quiet enough, to sneak up and learn more about them first? If they're just some ragtag band of looters, perhaps Gotch's plan is the best bet, make them nervous, and then attack to drive them off. If they're part of some larger group with a more definite purpose, we may need to negotiate."

Are there any animals around? I would like to try to convince a bird (speak with animals) to fly a few times over the camp while i use Beast sense to watch what is going on there.
There's no birds arounds or any animal life to really speak of. The land went from green plains to barren sands a while ago. It's still a few hours walk to get to the ruin and summoner lesser demon has maximum range of 60ft.

"I'd have to get close enough to cast the spell, probably within 60 feet or so." Gotch says with a shrug. "I'm pretty ok at sneaking, with my fancy boots though." He lifts up one foot to show off the boots of elvenkind he wears. "Why don't I send Sabastian in for a closer look, unless Onyx wants to go instead. Sabastian is quiet, but not as quiet as Onyx..."
We are three hours walking distance away, at the begining of the night, i would suggest we send a flying familliar and i use Beast Sense to watch through its senses and then tomorow morning we get closer and i sneak in. I Wouldn‘t want to run away while being away from the group and geting exhausted.
Familiars no matter what shape may take are not beasts. Beast sense would work off by time familiar get to ruins also

We rest here and then early in the morning we get closer, i sneak the last bit with Fingolin and Gotch closer to the camp and we look what we can find out?
"So it looks like we have a plan, sort of. Early in the morning before daybreak we sneak closer to the encampment, preferably to a spot that overlooks the area. Then those that can go invisible and can move silently will get even closer to take a look at the area. At which point we will decide on what direction to take. If we happen to come across any lone person wandering around, we take them out as quickly and as quietly as we can. If by chance we are able to subdue them we should try so we can learn further about the camp. Does this work for everyone?" Resfaen asks.
If that's the plan, those who go up to scout, give me stealth and perception checks as well as any spells being used.

Once we are within maybe 15 min of the camp site i would cast pass without a trace, that gives us 15 to get close, 30 min to look around and 15 min to get away.
