Without hesitation, Thistle raises her bow and looses on the staggering orc. Then she turns to the others, her mouth set grimly, "There are orcs in the homes, looting, this must be their cart."
Bonus Action: Insightful fighting on the staggering orc, Insight 26 vs orc's Deception Action: Shoot the orc with her bow. 6 to hit, for 9 piercing damage. If Insightful Fighting hits, then add 6 sneak attack damage.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. Here's my D&D stuff. I love it so.
Thistle, hearing the words of the offensive orc, quickly looses an arrow at him. It catches hims in the belly, and he double over in pain. (surprise attack, that will trigger the next combat. I think it works better this way. Have to balance PbP with normal surprise rules with concurrent initiative. since he knew you were there, already engaged you, there is no surprise round, but Thistle's attack started the "combat clock" in a sense)

Lem just didnt move fast enough. The orc drags himself to the door of the tavern, and manages to get inside before another attack.
Lem, you would have seen him go in, as you were connecting to the weave and moving your mechanical arm into position. Your fireball would have no effect, except for maybe burning the door. I assume you dont want to waste that spell slot, so we will say you lower your arm instead of shooting the fireball.
(Fire bolt's a cantrip, so he's fine using it, but if he really couldn't get a short, he wouldn't hit an unsuspecting door. It's more I've already wasted two good rolls!)
Thistle curses imaginatively (even for a soldier, which you know she was not) and pulls another arrow, pulling back and readying a shot if an enemy should show. "I was sure I had him. Can we spare the time?"
Action: Ready a shot with her short bow.

(@Mingo: Gotta give Yokini and I chance, ya know for the 1st round! :P)
Zashier had nodded to Thistle. Knowing time was of the essence however, he let out a large trumpeting, alerting any Orcs to the group's presence, hoping they'd come out on their own in response to it, or at least reveal themselves in some other way. With that done and Sun Touched Axe already in hand, Zashier barrelled in after the retreating Orc, dashing as necessary to get in past the door and into melee with the fiend!
Thistle, sort of a gray area. Your shot surprised him, but it was the first shot of the next combat, so you just went first in this round. Sorry for the confusion. Not your fault, all mine.
Zashier, no need to dash. Your movement can get you to the tavern, but the door is shut. Are you using your action to open the door, or are you attempting to ram the door down?
Yokini clanks the weapons, moving them aside with no interest. She does pocket the coin, figuring, why not? She stands and looks at the burning house and back to the weapons, wishing she was strong enough to toss them all in. As Zashier approaches with his sword, she narrows her brow as he extends the blade toward her, but she doesn't flinch back. The rush of magic that flows into her causes the gnome to gasp. As he retracts the weapon, she smiles, feeling almost right as rain. "Thanks, big guy. That feels much better. Remind me to study that thing later. I might could learn something from it."
She follows the party, but hurries over to the dead soldier slumped over the well wall to check for a pulse. After a moment, she shakes her head, even though the others aren't really paying attention, and she leaves the body.
At the sight of the drunk orc, she puts her hands on her hips and cheers when Thistle's arrow lands in its guts. "It's getting away!" she observes. But when Zashier trumpets, she ducks her head and looks around nervously at the houses. "So much for the element of surprise." She looks around for somewhere to take cover, drawing out her crossbow. A glowing bolt appears, ready to fly.
Zashier charges in through the front door of the establishment. Inside is a small quaint bar area. Right on front of him is the orc who just insulted this town, who he cuts down on the spot. The axe slashes through the air, and it is not a deep gash, but after the damage done by Thistle's arrow, it is enough to take his last breath. As the orc crumples, Zasher you notice that there are two humans at the bar. Now, Fallcrest is not a huge place, and you know most of the people there. These humans do not appear to be Fallcrestians. They are clearly drunk, and they pull their blades on you and move to attack.
They both swing, wildly, and in their drunken stupor attempt to hit you with their swords (To hit with drunken disadvantage: 912) but both of them swing wide, spinning extra since their momentum was not stopped by hitting Zashier.
Yokini, sure, there is some debris, and there is a broken down wagon behind which you take cover.
Zashier is in the bar, in melee with two humans. Thistle and Lem are out in the street, and Yokini has taken cover behind a broken cart.
30 feet from the bar, 60 feet from Thistle and Lem, are the grouping of houses where Thistle alerted you that there are orcs looting those buildings. Though it seems your higher priority is supporting Zashier as he barreled forward into the bar, with almost no thought to his own safety.
Thistle glances at Lem as she hears the noises from inside. Then she takes a longer look towards her houses. "We need to be quick, but I do want to retrieve my arrow."
With that she will march into the tavern, shooting one of the two humans as she enters.
Action: Shoot a drunk ruffian with her short bow and Sneak Attack (since they are in melee). 21 to hit, for 10 piercing damage.

Lem grumbles and follows inside. When he sees a human, he says, "We could ask them what they know about the-- okay then we're shooting,"and he will prepare a fire bolt for any enemy who's still hostile.
In the heat of the moment, once the men were labled as 'non-fallcrestian' in elephantine mind, the men's fate were sealed. Zashier meant to show neither mercy and very little in the way of hesitation as stepped forth in the wake of Thistle's shot, swinging the axe in an uppercutting stroke upon the wounded man. However, in those last moments, he stops just short, and shouts out a "Wake! UP!" as he reeled back and headbutt the man.
The damage would by largely superficial, for in that brief moment of contact, cleansing divine energy would sweep through the man, purging him of the alcohol poisoning his mind. "One chance, outsider. Lay down your arms, stop your friend, and explain why in the nine you two drunkards aren't fighting off this incursion, eh?"
Action: Lay on Hands on injured human(if alive), expending remaining 5 points to purge poison in target.

Nope, that would be a free action. My bad. ignore that previous question.

Yokini continues to scan the buildings from her cover, watching for anything to report to her friends once they're done with the orc.
Perception: 4
And if she still has an action, she'll hold an attack for anything that she feels threatens anyone in the party (including herself).
