As you bring Kass a bit closer to the approaching group, you can now see them more clearly. In front are two globlins riding worgs followed by three ogres and four trolls. A bit in the back is a hill giant and another troll. Two goblins are each scouting one side of the group. You prepare the wall of force and try to estimate were to cast is in order to cut the group in half while they are moving under the cover of the trees.
You guide your hands to move the air around the oncoming force, creating an impenetrable wall. This wall blocks the advance of one of the worg riding goblins, two of the ogres and three of the trolls. One of the goblins on the flank stands near the free end of the long leg of the wall. They have to move either around sideways or backwards in order to be able to advance.
Meanwhile, the rest of the horde continues forward. When they come within 100ft, their steps suddenly become lighter as they start to float in the air. The rise faster and faster until they are effectively falling upwards.
The worg manages to latch onto a nearby tree using its claws. His rider and the rest of the group are too surprised by the sudden fall to grab a hold of something. While falling they each strike against different branches of the trees taking up to 3d6 points of damage until they rise above the trees. There they hang about 20ft above the trees, floating, bruised, amidst them two dead goblins.
Damage per creature: Worg riding goblin: 13 scouting goblin: 8 Ogre: 8 Troll in front: 5 Troll in back: 14 Hill giant: 9
J'zargo chuckles as the creatures begin to accelerate upwards, realising what was happening. "This one thanks you for the challenge, friend." He raises his crossbow upwards and looks down its sight, until the ugly head of the floating ogre becomes visible through the foliage.
You see the ogre momentarily forgetting the confusion of how he got so high up in the air and grinning towards you. Clearly he doesn't expect you to hit from so far below, until the bolt pierces his simple brain. His body shakes for a bit, but then remains motionless.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ingus assesses the battlefield, the rear part of the enemy is still too far out of range, and the Wall of Force is still slowing them down. Instead he opts to place the wall halfway the area affected by Tassaraths Reverse Gravity. This places another barrier between any surviving forces from both the Wall of Force and the Reverse Gravity.
Directly after casting the spell, you hear the whining of the Worg who is being burned by the heat of the wall.
Dexterity saving throw with disadvantage due to being restrained: 5
After recovering from the first shock, the horde realizes how serious you are about this!
The half that was not blocked by the Wall of Force is unable to move due to floating in the air.
The other half searches a way to move around the invisible wall forcing them to move at half speed. At the end of their turn the worg riding goblin, one of the ogres and one of the trolls stand near the long leg of the wall, searching for the edge. The other ogre and the other two trolls are halfway the short leg of the wall, cautiously moving forward, seeing their allies all affected by strange effects. The scouting goblin on the side has already past the wall, but is still moving cautiously unknowing that he is free of danger.
(ooc: I think its my turn? sorry i've had a bunch of irl stuff going on. I'm not sure of positioning. but Grimmrimm is going to close in and attempt some attacks.)
Grimmrimm enters a Rage and zooms toward the hostile creatures, swing his flaming greatsword with pleasure and reckless abandon.

As the heads of all of the remaining enemies, except the scouting goblin, start to turn around in confusion, you know the spell starts to take effect. All of them, except the worg, are entranced by the colors around them.

With several targets floating in the air, and the others harassing the forces on the ground, J'zargo calmly reloads his crossbow and fires into the trees towards the giant, his hands manipulating the weapon with skilled ease, maintaining a good pace as he does this three times in succession.

Gash - Lvl14 Goblin Wizard - The High Court of the Aasimar Queen
(Sorry everyone, I totally spaced this...)
Taman casts hypnotic pattern where it can catch the majority of teh non reverse-gravity enemy.
DC19 wis save or incompacitated. Area is a 30 foot cube.
As the heads of all of the remaining enemies, except the scouting goblin, start to turn around in confusion, you know the spell starts to take effect. All of them, except the worg, are entranced by the colors around them.
Wisdom saving trow:
worg riding goblin: 1
worg: 16
Troll at the front: 1
First Troll in the back: 16
Second Troll in the back: 11
Ogre at the front: -1
Ogre in the back: 18
The casting of the hypnotic pattern cancels the wall of force, as both are concentration. So the wall goes down as the pattern comes up.
With several targets floating in the air, and the others harassing the forces on the ground, J'zargo calmly reloads his crossbow and fires into the trees towards the giant, his hands manipulating the weapon with skilled ease, maintaining a good pace as he does this three times in succession.

All three of the arrows hit the giant on different parts of his body, you can see the giant grunting from the pain.
