Jack laughed some more, nearly spraying saliva at the preposterous question, with Jenna giving Pierce a sidelong glance of curiosity at the inquiry. Of course, Jack denied it. As the evening ran on, Jenna was starting to get glossier and glossier, so Quacky suggested she get some sleep for the big night tomorrow. She agreed, and picked up Quacky and headed to her room. Once inside, Jenna waved to Min Jee in a slushy greeting, and Quacky found his bed and nestled in. Jenna began to clean up, and take off her gear into her nightclothes.
Kat settles for listening to the conversation around her. Growing up, everyone in the Clan around her taught her that listening was one of the best ways to learn a new place. She engages in polite conversation with people if they initiate it, just learning what she can from the small talk going on in the room.
Pierce wipes off a bit of Jack's saliva before deciding to call it a night. He bids Jack goodnight, as well as Min-Jee, Kat, and Dust, with whom he shares his theory with, more out of idle gossip than anything. As he tucks himself in and turns out the light, his last thought is that this job better be worth it.

The whole hotel was abuzz with activity. Today was the big day.
Quacky honked in Jenna's face while on her bed, and she startled. "What t-"she jerked, opening her eyes and looking around. "Oh, hey, Quacky. Is it time?" Quacky honked in an affirmative. "Right. Ok."Jenna slowly got out of bed, and winced at her headache. She went into the bathroom and popped a pill that immediately eliminated the hangover. She undressed, showered, and redressed into her business suit. She looked at her gun one last time, hoping she wouldn't have to use it, and put it in it's holster strapped across her chest. She made sure she had throwing knifes in her waist holster, and then put on her suit jacket and was ready to go.
She made sure Min Jee and Kat were either awake or alive, and if they were, mentioned. "There's going to be breakfast downstairs in the restaurant, if you guys want - then it's time to head out to the stadium."
Kat wakes up early, having gone to bed at a semi-reasonable time, and having woken up near dawn her whole life anyway. She showers and dresses quickly and quietly, taking her pistol from under her pillow and slipping it into its holster, unplugging her pad, and pulling on her jacket. The young woman nods at Jenna when the woman is woken up by Quacky, lacing up her boots. "Sounds good." She grabs her gear, slings the smaller messenger bag over her shoulder, and is ready to go.
The sun was going down, and the stadium was abuzz with activity. It was a massive stadium and crew were working around the clock to set everything up - the stage, the lights, huge monitors, the musical equipment. JENNA AND PIERCE Kessler greeted us warmly. "Hey guys. Here's a few things I need you guys to do for me before the concert begins - you know, basic security checks. You going to take a section of the stadium, patrol the area, and make sure the gates are closed, the doors are locked, kick all non essential crew and staff out, make sure there's no weirdos loitering around - that sort of thing. Physical inspections of the area, and making sure everything is secure keeps everyone safe. Pierce, take the weast/north side, Jenna take the west/south."

Give them a hand so they don't f*ck this up. Also, one of the crew's trucks is having a timing issue, it's been sputtering and such, it's a huge prop for the show, so take it in the parking lot and give it a spin - probably just needs to be warmed up a little bit more."

THE CONCERT
Tinker handed us all discrete headsets to wear so we could all communicate. They slipped right on to the ear and were super slick. It was time for us to head to our posts. Fans started to line up, hand in tickets, and pour in. It was a huge event. Tons of people started sitting down while the crew finalized the equipment and the band went behind the stage for the big opening. Two massive big rig trucks with huge cargo wide TV displays were ready to go.
PIERCE AND JENNA "Pierce, take the east side, Jenna the west. Make sure there's no trouble and keep an eye out on the crowd. Don't get distracted. Watch the gates, the doors, and especially the band members. Anyone who starts trouble gets thrown out. Hopefully there won't be any big trouble like last time. If you have any questions or see something you can't handle, let me know over the comms."
DUST "In the event some musical equipment goes down, which is rare, you're gonna have to hustle backstage and go grab it, hand it to the band member. In addition, stay alert and make sure all the props are functioning and for f*cks sake make sure those trucks are running and no one's ******* around with them. Those TV monitors HAVE to stay on. During the break, the band members are gonna wanna freshen up, so you'll be on catering duty, too."
MIN JEE, QUACKY, AND KAT "Ok babes. Kat, you're gonna help me in case any tech goes down. This show uses a lot of computers and parts and holy crap if something goes bonkers. Min Jee, you and your..duck..are gonna make sure the software side of the show is all tits and a$$, ok? Lots of flashy stuff goin' on and both of you are gonna be super important in helping me keep this whole computer and electronic display up so we have a good show."
It was almost time. The crowd was excited and when everything went dark and the whole light show began - the electronic synth music softly beginning. Then, the whole crowd went berzerk as the curtains rose and Entropy was displayed rocking out on their instruments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ayYeLLT8bsIt was pitch black and the lights, beams, and lasers displayed seizure inducing patterns over the whole stadium. The TV displays on the trucks showed fast and furious samples of ambient symbols and other artistic sci fi images. People were cheering and going nuts.
Jenna bobbed her head softly as the music played, and scanned the crowd, keeping an eye out for trouble. She had her arms around her chest, close to her gun, just in case. Around her neck was a lanyard with a digital ID badge that identified her as security. A few guys in the crown near her wiggled their tongues at her in a sexual manner, and she rolled her eyes inwardly, not letting them distract her. She couldn't help it. "F*ck..."she said to everyone over the comm set. "Couple of jokers here trying to be romantic. I think i'll send 'em Kat's way."she snorted, joking.
Kat listens to her duties and nods, settling down to keep a careful eye on all the tech. She smiles as the concert ramps up, the noise and energy sparking a little excitement in her chest that she promptly channels to keeping watch on the tech. The smile widens as Jenna comes in over comms. "Sure, I'll kick 'em where the sun don't shine," she returns with a laugh.
SITUATION ONE Pierce, you notice from the corner of your eye, a small crowd of groupies of both male and female have found a way and are pushing their way backstage in an attempt to get closer to the band members of Entropy. Way too close. They're excited, and clearly don't give a hoot about safety, personal space, or respect for the band members. They're not supposed to be back there, and in their hooting and hollering, there's no telling what they could do in their excitement.
Convince them to leave? (Cool + Persuation vs DV16). Bully them outta there? (Cool + Interrogation or Dex + Athletics vs DV14) Or, some other way! (Stat + Skill DV14)
SITUATION TWO Jenna was scanning the crowd. She startled as a couple of fans bolted from their seats in excitement and attempted to rush the stage, making it past regular security. They made it past. "Oh f*ck! Wh-"she muttered, then realized what was happening. "HEY!"she called out, to no avail - the music was way too loud. "$hit! I've got- HEY! F*CK!"she started to report, but was distracted at how quick both guys were scrambling to climb up on stage and bolted towards the front of the stage to intercept them.
Get the f*uck down from there! (Dex + Athletics vs DV14) Sir? Please? Don't make me call my manager! (Cool + Persuasion vs DV16) Or, some other way! (Stat + Skill DV14)
SITUATION THREE Dust, a small group of morons are trying to get on top of the truck on the west side to get a better view of the show. It's a group of about three guys. Not only do they look buzzed as hell, which is fun, but they're not allowed on the truck for their safety, and because it's a god damn expensive big rig.
Mister not so nice guy approach: (Dex + Athletics vs DV14) Mister nice guy approach: (Cool + Persuasion vs DV16) Or, some other way! (Stat + Skill DV14)
SITUATION FOUR Even though the crowd can't tell one bit, the light display on the east truck is acting funny. Tinker is off monitoring some other expensive equipment, but you know for a fact that display is NOT supposed to be doing what it's doing. Someone must have tripped on a video cable and the display is acting super wonky. Once it's re connected, you'll have to go into the main entertainment program and reboot it before anyone notices it's acting up. Kat's gonna have to go out there and find the unplugged cable, reconnect it, and give you a signal to reboot the program. Not to mention Quacky waddled off somewhere, and as you look around, you can't find him.
The steps: 1. Kat, go hustle over to the east big rig. You gotta hurry, and dodge and muscle your way through an enormous crowd to get there. (Dex + Athletics vs DV16) 2. Gotta find the cable. Where is it? This one? No. How about this? Crap! (Tech + Basic Tech vs DV14) 3. The cable's plugged back in. Give Min Jee the go ahead to reboot! Min Jee, log in and access the program architecture with Scanner: Interface + 1d10 vs DV10 4. Booyeah. Found it. Now it's time to reboot with Control: (Interface + 1d10 vs DV12)
Aeydof the Dragons || Wood Elf / Way of the Ascendant Dragon Monk Demetrios Zalaoras || Protector Aasimar / Paladin of Torm Hawke || Kalashtar / Circle of the Moon Druid Morticia || Half-Aasimar Rogue Yvan || Goliath / Path of the Wild Soul Barbarian | Paladin of Helm /ᐠ。ꞈ。ᐟ\
Pierce calmly but quickly strides over to where the groupies are headed. His weapons aren't drawn, but he makes sure that they're out so any hooligan can see them. He extends the rippers that are in his cyberarm as well, just in case. "You can't be here. You can either get out of here, or I can remove you. And I'm telling you now, you don't want me to remove you."

Pierce: The groupies reluctantly listen, clearly disappointed, but respecting your authority. They don't give you any trouble and shuffle off, despite some of their annoyed faces.
Min Jee: You totally nailed it with the reboot, but the programs fails to restart at your Control attempt. Unless you want to spend a point of Luck, you're going to fail this task. (In Red, you have beat the DV, meeting isn't considered a success.)
Kat: (You'll have to spend one more Luck point to pass the first part of the test - see DV comment above to Cher.) God damn, there's a lot of people here today. It's completely congested, and you barely squeezed through the crowd with enough time to spare. Finding the cable and reconnecting it? That was child's play.
Jenna: 9 + 3 + 1 vs DV16 "Hey! Get the f*ck down from there! HEY!"she shouted, tapping one of them roughly on the arm. She had to do that twice, and considered drawing her pea shooter, but knew that would be a bad idea in front of a raging crowd. One of the men turned to look at her, and she scowled and pointed to the ground in a manner indicating that she meant business. "GET. DOWN."
Dust: ?!?!??
"What did you say? Quacky's gone?"Jenna asked, watching the men get off the edge of the stage and sit back down. She backed away to her spot.

Then he deals with some stragglers who managed to get in. "Hey, I don't want to start any trouble with you guys, but you can't be here. You don't have to head home, but you've gotta find somewhere else to hang out before the show."

With the stragglers gone, he gives the area one final look before heading back to the spot where he and Jenna are supposed to meet up.

Spending LUCK on the first roll.
Whoa. Almost missed that third gate over there. How lucky I caught it.
Better check the doors. Yup. Those look good.
What's over here? "Alright guys, gotta scoot - concert going up here tonight. If you wanna see it, go get tickets, c'mon. Move along."
Oh, there's Pierce. "F*ck, I almost missed a door. How'd your side go?" she asked, catching up to him.
"It wasn't too interesting, to be honest. Just some stragglers, but that's nothing unusual."

Dust nods as Tam tell him what needs to be done and get to it. As he heads out to do the assigned tasks, he smiles excitedly at the sight of the truck, and when going out to get booze. Anytime he's allowed to drive, he's happy. Just him, a fast car and the open road....well, urban roads work to.
- Guitars to with Jack. Basses go to B*tch. Drums: Hammer. This one's unmarked. Crap. Where were the keyboards going? (WILL + Concentration or INT + Perception DV14) = 9+4+ 4 vs 14
- Oh this truck's a beauty. It's loaded with fireworks, a massive display, and it's huge. It's aching for a test drive. Take it for a spin, and don't crash it. (REF + Driving DV14) = 10+7+ 5 vs. 14

With the exception of two missed rolls, everyone overall did very well!
PIERCE AND JENNA
"Pierce, take the east side, Jenna the west.
DUST
"In the event some musical equipment goes down, which is rare, you're gonna have to hustle backstage and go grab it, hand it to the band member. In addition, stay alert and make sure all the props are functioning and for f*cks sake make sure those trucks are running and no one's ******* around with them. Those TV monitors HAVE to stay on. During the break, the band members are gonna wanna freshen up, so you'll be on catering duty, too."
MIN JEE, QUACKY, AND KAT
"Ok babes.
Then, the whole crowd went berzerk as the curtains rose and Entropy was displayed rocking out on their instruments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ayYeLLT8bs It was pitch black and the lights, beams, and lasers displayed seizure inducing patterns over the whole stadium.
"F*ck..." she said to everyone over the comm set. "Couple of jokers here trying to be romantic. I think i'll send 'em Kat's way." she snorted, joking.

SITUATION ONE
Pierce, you notice from the corner of your eye, a small crowd of groupies of both male and female have found a way and are pushing their way backstage in an attempt to get closer to the band members of Entropy.
(Cool + Interrogation or Dex + Athletics vs DV14)
Or, some other way! (Stat + Skill DV14)
SITUATION TWO
Jenna was scanning the crowd. She startled as a couple of fans bolted from their seats in excitement and attempted to rush the stage, making it past regular security. They made it past. "Oh f*ck! Wh-" she muttered, then realized what was happening. "HEY!" she called out, to no avail - the music was way too loud. "$hit! I've got- HEY! F*CK!" she started to report, but was distracted at how quick both guys were scrambling to climb up on stage and bolted towards the front of the stage to intercept them.
Get the f*uck down from there! (Dex + Athletics vs DV14)
Sir? Please? Don't make me call my manager! (Cool + Persuasion vs DV16)
Or, some other way! (Stat + Skill DV14)
SITUATION THREE
Dust, a small group of morons are trying to get on top of the truck on the west side to get a better view of the show. It's a group of about three guys. Not only do they look buzzed as hell, which is fun, but they're not allowed on the truck for their safety, and because it's a god damn expensive big rig.
Mister not so nice guy approach: (Dex + Athletics vs DV14)
Mister nice guy approach: (Cool + Persuasion vs DV16)
Or, some other way! (Stat + Skill DV14)
SITUATION FOUR
Even though the crowd can't tell one bit, the light display on the east truck is acting funny.
The steps:
1. Kat, go hustle over to the east big rig. You gotta hurry, and dodge and muscle your way through an enormous crowd to get there. (Dex + Athletics vs DV16)
2. Gotta find the cable. Where is it? This one? No. How about this? Crap! (Tech + Basic Tech vs DV14)
3. The cable's plugged back in. Give Min Jee the go ahead to reboot! Min Jee, log in and access the program architecture with Scanner: Interface + 1d10 vs DV10
4. Booyeah. Found it. Now it's time to reboot with Control: (Interface + 1d10 vs DV12)
Kat gets hustling.
This won't go well: 5+2+5
Kat will burn 4 luck points to make that a success, cause this is important.
Then she quickly and expertly searches through the cables to find the right one.

HEY!" she shouted, tapping one of them roughly on the arm.
Quacky's gone?" Jenna asked, watching the men get off the edge of the stage and sit back down. She backed away to her spot.
