If Bhuraelea can get within 30 ft of the person, he will cast sanctuary on him.

To the men he will shout: "Do not touch the Pegasus in any way, nor attack it. My spell will help you to dodge its attacks so concentrate on avoiding geting hit."

 Persuade it to do what?  Ethan is offering the creature his aid, not trying to talk it into something.

The Pegasus is in a blind rage for some reason, are you trying to calm it? That is what the check is for so it does not attack you, or continue attacking the commoner Give yourself advantage since you are a paladin 

Ethan continues to talk soothingly to the creature as he approaches, still with his hands out to the sides, away from his weapons.

 He walks up to the flying horse and holds his hand out to it, working to keep it soothed and then trying to move it away from the person it was attacking.  If it allows him to touch it he will rub its coat and massage trembling muscles.

The celestial does not let you touch it but it does back up away from you and the hole it looks at you with a keen intelligence one ear pointed towards you one laying flat its wings spread and it swings it's head towards some missing feathers

"You think you got him under control?" Nea questions from a far distance away, still ready to charge in if needed.

Bhuraelea will stay within 30ft of the man in the hole, but he will not get any closer to either the men or the pegasus.

"One moment there great steed..."  Ethan says, giving the flying horse a bow of respect.  He then steps to the man and holds out a hand.  "Give me the feathers or I will let him tear you apart.  His tone is utterly devoid of any soothing tones now.

Intimidation: 18 (if advantage from the situation ... 7)

"But I was only going to use them  to write great works in poetry and stories. I meant no harm." 

The man you are supposed to find(rescue) and bring back to the refugee camp hands you the feathers obviously scared of you

he jumps out of the hole and runs away.......In terror

The Pegasus ears pin back takes the feathers shakes its head and flies away. 

"Chase the horse or man?" Nea ask as her head switch between both of them.

"Let the steed go." Ethan says, gazing after the pegasus with a longing look.  He then turns towards where the man fled to.  "He is the one we seek." He nods after the man.  "Can one of you catch him?"

Without waiting for an answer, Jayson shrugs off his pack, and will break into a full run after the man.  "I got'em!" He'll yell back as he takes off.

Watching the incredible speed that Jayson is displaying, Bhuraelea picks up Jaysons bag and follows him.

“If i use some magic, i can run fast, but i‘ll be damned if i could catch up with him.“

 "We should probably follow him," Nea states before taking off after him. 

With a sigh, and another wistful glance back to where the flying horse disappeared, Ethan follows the others.

Billiam runs into the grove to some nearby bushes and hides badly. The Grove has trees with a canopy of thirty feet up, mostly blocking the sky. Nuts grow heavy in the branches

The bush that Billiam is hiding behind has thorns and purple berries

"th, th, This." He points  to the berries and then the nuts

"Is why I came out here"

Said to Jayson whom is the first to arrive on the scene 

"I have treasure that I can give you if you would harvest them for me"

Arching one eyebrow at the man, Jayson asks, "You're here! Why do you need to pay someone to harvest them?"

"I'm afraid of heights and not very agile the gallnuts just ripened and none have fell off the tree. A spry young man(Monk) like you shouldn;t have any problems."

he shakes his head and picks a berry and puts it in a sack

"Shame a thousand gold will stay where it is then. The events, in Elturel would mean I can't come by here for a long time. If you are going to help me pick the caroba berries careful the thorns on these bushes are poisonous"

"As long as you're paying," NEa shurgs as she grabbs a rope from her backpack and attempts to climb up the tree. She plans on clmibning up, tyring the rope high on tree, grabbing some buts and sliding down the rope.
