Umbriel thanks Lyngheid for the healing, he's almost back to full, and he now has his spell slots back. He also says that he can keep people from succombing to the Great Beyond, but won't be able to get them back up either. He stands, ready to continue on.
After carefully searching, you find a tile near the tub that is loose. After prying it out you find a chamber behind it. In the chamber is a silver flute. It looks like it used to be wrapped in a burlap sack, but only fragments of burlap remain. You suspect this flute has been there a very, very long time. When you pick it up, you can tell that there is something special about it, but you aren't sure what.
The party sets out. Leaving the bundle of armor ready to go, but in King Grol's quarters so they can come back and get it. Various potions and possibly magic items have been re-distributed among the group.
You poke your head through the curtain to the south and find a stone brazier full of coals glows in the middle of this small barracks. Four straw pallets are lined up along the east wall. The wall to the south has collapsed, but a barred wooden door in that direction is still intact and closed.
No Strength check needed. As soon as you lift the bar, the door swings open revealing a dark room. Your sword starts glowing, and through it's glow you can see that this used to be a tower. You can't quite make out the upper floors, they might be intact, but maybe not. Dust, rubble, and broken glass cover the floor and old worktables and bookshelves lie strewn to the south.
In the middle of the room is hulking beast that looks familiar. It's not the same Owlbear that you encountered in the woods, as this one is smaller, perhaps a juvenile. It rears up and roars when it sees you.
Whistler pulls out the rabbit he was saving for his new friend.
"Whistler friend!" he mimics, "Whistler same asyou! Friends killed King Grohl." he mimics, breaking the rabbit effortlessly in half and offering it to the Owlbear. (OOC: AGAIN!) BIG! KENKU! EYES!

Umbriel is going to hang back, ready, but completely non-threatening. While Whistler is making friends, he'll investigate the barracks and look for any clues hinting to possible prisoners elsewhere in the castle. Investigation: 12
"I do have a way to make it friendly to us, but I'm afraid I need to save that strength for healing if I can!" Rosie looks anxiously toward the creature. "I don't want it hurt, though, so I'd rather charm it than attack it."
Umbriel says in a low, even voice so that everyone can hear, but not loudly enough to startle our new friend, "Whistler, see if you can coax the animal out of that tower - it may have been guarding something on a level above it. I'd like to see what's up there." He'll then begin moving slowly and carefully along the western wall toward the doorway, but will wait for an opening before moving in.
Whistler continues making soothing gestures and trying to calm the Owlbear while Baeshra begins his ritual. Ten minutes pass with cooing noises and clucks and the occasional roar.

The young Owlbear hungrily devours the rabbit, then looks at Whistler and cocks his head to the side.
OOC: Make an Animal Handling check. If you have anything else to offer the Owlbear, you can make it with Advantage.
Nyx picks up thr flute and dusts it off.
"Ohh guys... look at this seductive lady"
She holds up the silver flute and plays a few notes.
As the party leaves she follows, taking up the rear and sticking close to the walls.

The owlbear scarfs down the rabbit. For the moment it doesn't appear to want to run or attack you.
