Staring with great intent and the most absolute focus Baymen can manage, he tries to decipher a language he's never even heard of, much less heard in person. Maybe he's seen something similar, in a lorebook or as apart of his training.
"...a name. I don't know the language of Dragons, but I do know the language of Demons. Ashardalon, the Bound, is an ancient and evil nightmare creature who was said to have tried to make a deal with a demon to stay alive. To give some perspective on the scope of its power, the demon was a Balor, a General of the Armies of the Abyss, and supposedly even that wasn't enough."
His face once again serious, Baymen slides his hand over the markings and looks back to the door.
"We should have one of the well-armored ones open the doors while the ranged ones ready attacks in case something comes at us from the other side." Kindra says. She readies produce flame.
Doc turns, interested in the knowledge of what Baymen is talking about, and listens intently. When Kindra makes her suggestion, he nods, agreeing and turns to the northwest door.
He pauses for a moment and looks at the rest of the party to see if everyone is ready and reaches for the handle, opening the door.

Fargoth enters first, moving slowly down the right hand wall. The elf makes out the doors through the gloom, and stops just short of the right hand door. He signals silently to the rest to join him if nothing untoward happens.
"Hmm. Nah. Can't read that."

Doc looks at the runes but has no clue as to what they might mean. Shrugging his shoulders, he turns to move on towards the north west door.
Roland nods at the words in draconic tongue. "Ashadalon? I don't know what that means."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

Roland nods to Doc. "I'm ready when you are."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Baymen steadies himself and nods to Doc in readiness as well.
"Open it already, you're making it sound like the thing is on the other side!" Fargoth readies an arrow, and waits for the door to be opened.

With stalwart courage, Baymen enters in right behind Fargoth.
Kindra follows, holding a light for the group so everyone can see in bright light.

"...The stone relief-carved door sealing this chamber portrays a dragon-like fish swimming..."
Baymen stares knowingly at the carving, he's figured out stranger things carved into rocks before, he can do it again.
