“Hatch, before we part ways, can you do a detect evil/good on these talisman’s? And then if anyone else has the ability to detect magic/identify, that would be great!” Throm said, not wishing to hang on to a trinket that might bring misfortune.
The pendants are indeed still hanging from everyone's necks. A few simple spells reveal them to be a powerful luck charm, allowing the wearer to turn aside some of the everyday effects of the goddess of misfortune. (In effect, to pass any failed saving throw once per day).
Searching his pockets, Throm finds the carrot, reduced in size from the bites, but no trace of the stopper. Apparently time has passed as usual, but the only ones not aware of the difference are Willagee, Kardinya and Bentley. Why these three alone were exempt from the effects, or what their experiences during that time actually were, none but the goddess can tell.

Thank you EVERYONE for making this a fun adventure. I don't like to focus on specific players, because you have all been so very excellent, but special mention to Lia for being present since the very beginning, and to Lok for just now taking three hits from a tarrasque and only losing 29 HP.
A small piece of trivia: Willagee, Kardinya, Bentley, Applecross, Booragoon, Rivervale, Karawara and Rossmoyne are all regions of my home city.
Thanks again for playing, and I hope the goddess of misfortune overlooks you all too. Stay safe and have fun. :)

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
((To everyone: this has been so much fun and part of my daily routine during quarantine times. I wish I was clever enough to create a Part 2 or something but I wouldn't know where to even begin. This was my first PBP experience and I loved it. If I can figure out how to follow ZorgAlmighty, I will in case he ever decides to do another of these. Thank you for letting me play, coming in late. It was a blast!))

Life gives you lemons, make lemonade, life gives you a sword? You make corpses of your enemies, sorcery is a good sword life has given you. (Stolen from friend)
Grog walks over and asks "What the heck is a spider? Is that one of those weird dog looking things that is eating that man over there? He then points to a random table in the corner where a man is getting eaten alive by a giant wolf.
