OOC: No, the swarm that Lathalas destroyed was the one that took the brunt of the fire damage.
OOC: Yes, Alianna can delay her action; that's what Lathalas did earlier.
Alianna lauches a Firebolt at the swarm, setting ablaze a good number. The stink of burned rat joins the myriad unpleasant smells in this dungeon. She notices that unlike the ineffectual attacks of Lathalas, her spells seem to do full damage to the swarm.
OOC: Remaining silver-backed rat swarm: 6+8=14 fire damage taken.
The rats discover that elves are fastfood while goliaths are traditional meals prepared and cooked for hours over an open flame. Goliaths are healthier eats, but the rats decide they'll risk the damage to their arteries and consume the high-cholesterol elf meal.
OOC: Rastaris and Mithrokk will close out the round.
OOC: No, the ones from the corridor were silver-backed. Only one badly-damaged swarm of those rats remain. These two followed Farakees from the storeroom.
Rastaris feels the pain but ignores it. This is nothing compared to what he has already gone through. He is a survivor. He wills his body to move, dodging the rat bites, carefully over the oil puddle and into the room Mithrokk is guarding.

OOC: One swarm still in G8. Is this the one that took the brunt of Alianna's Burning Hands spell (failed save?)
OOC: Thanks! For future reference, could I just delay my turn without taking a ready action?
Alianna launches a firebolt at the swarm in G8. She then moves to C4, avoiding the oil slick on F5.
Attack: 18 Damage: 4
OOC: Mmmmm; crispy!
OOC: Crispy ratsies for hobbitses... nasty hobbitses...
OOC: Crispy-licious, juicy-licious!

OOC: Remaining silver-backed rat swarm: 6+8=14 fire damage taken.
OCC: Ineffectual? Maybe just inefficient.
OCC: Honestly, who can keep track of rat swarms anyway?
The silver-backed rats attack Rastaris: 16, 5 damage if they hit.
The two rat swarms chase after Farnakees, but decide that elf might be more tender.
One swarm enters his square and attacks: 3,2+ 1 damage if they hit.
The second swarm moves adjacent to the elf (I9), and also attack: 5, 6 damage if they hit.
OOC: Lathalas can't help but be more delicious, too. He will feed the rats his specialty: knuckle sandwich.
OOC: "Knuckle sandwich" - how 1950's. Perhaps a cherry coke and a choc sundae too?
OOC: These are the two swarms from the eastern storeroom, right?
First swarm hits but not the second. Seven damage? Oh ... this is not good. Still up but just barely.
OOC: Aren't these critters from the corridor? The ones Farnakees was dealing with in the eastern storeroom stayed in there.
OOC - Yup, the first swarm hit.
The rats discover that elves are fastfood while goliaths are traditional meals prepared and cooked for hours over an open flame. Goliaths are healthier eats, but the rats decide they'll risk the damage to their arteries and consume the high-cholesterol elf meal.

OOC: Silver-backed rats like to order takeout. Nice.
OOC: Seems Rast is fast asleep. Catch you all again in the morning then :-) Was fun playing tonight.
OOC: Totally.
Rastaris Disengage from the Rats and moves to C7
Rastaris feels the pain but ignores it. This is nothing compared to what he has already gone through. He is a survivor. He wills his body to move, dodging the rat bites, carefully over the oil puddle and into the room Mithrokk is guarding.
