Germain looks around curiously, then turns to Taviel, "I don't see anything, but I'll take your word on it. As for when we get to the city, we'll see how things turn out when we get there."
You get a similar feeling, an itch that someone is watching the group. You do not feel their attention is on you (as in Toc himself) though. As you look around you spot a figure in a shadowy corner of the tavern room. As you narrow your eyes on that area, the figure moves and the dark cloak they wear slips a bit, revealing the features of a hobgoblin. The figure quickly adjusts his cloak again. Then, suddenly, they simply vanish, as if the shadows swallowed them.
Toc frowns, standing up abruptly and walks over to the corner of the Inn. He puts his foot onto the chair where he'd seen the hobgoblin, then glance around the room. He looks for places he could misty step out of this room from here, out through windows or the likes, and then does a quick trot to get outside and look around. Assuming he spots nothing, he heads back in to where the group is. "It would seem our influence in recent events with this cult have not gone unnoticed. It would seem they have sent at least one spy on our tails. A hobgoblin in a dark cloak...who can teleport. I'm unsure how to shake a tail at this point. But this is good for us all to know. Any group with resources enough, and foresight enough to send this sort of tracker...must be much more influential than we've been thinking. Thanks for noticing Taviel."
He seems to chew on his thoughts the rest of the meal and indeed, as they resume their trip out on the road.

"Can not even say "glad to be of service". A hobgoblin?! Agh! You think it was after us or the ... cargo?" Just in case they were still observed (even if she did not feel it anymore) she did not talk about eggs openly. "Not sure what is worse. Guess we should be ready to some surprises on the road." She left the food, loosing appetite now. "Ready when you are."
When done eating the group moves out, finding their horses groomed and with saddlebags that have provisions for the mounts refilled. There are enough riding horses for even Taviel's servant to ride one. You have one left over if you wish to use it as a cargo mount or something.
Leaving Silverspan, you head out down the road, the city of Etherel a good 5 and a half days journey from here still.
Traveling through the Greenfields, you see distant flying creatures, but do not have anything close enough to concern you as you travel. As night approaches you find a likely spot for a camp and set up watches.
(By default, Taviel would prefer first or last shift - when there is some light, she can not see in the darkness. If others want to take her shift - she would not argue either. Plus, there are Nodwick and Nissa (flying snake) to keep watch with her or instead of her)
Toc prefers to get his 4 hours of meditation in immediately, and then help watch the rest of the night along with some light studying.
Toc, unhappy about the 'distant flying things', spends some time in the back of the wagon, working on an arcane ritual (if you'll allow casting a ritual while riding and/or sitting in a wagon?). And his bat familiar transforms into a hawk. He nods to it, and sends it off of his arm flying towards the distant things. (If not, I'll have to do this the next evening while on watch.)
Trying to get a sense of what they are, but not endanger itself.

I don't believe you have the wagon with you any longer. Currently you are all riding on riding horses. The wagon, with the eggs, was left in Silverspan. Guess that begs the question about where you have the prisoner, if they are still with you. Do you have them, or did you leave them in Silverspan, for the Harpers to question
We leave the prisoner to be questioned by the Harpers then. Can I cast a ritual while riding on horse back? If not, the Hawk will wait until tomorrow. If so, he goes an explores the flying things in the air.

I'd let you do an arcana check to see if you could do the ritual while riding. The horse might not like the small bowl of burning coal, incense, and herbs in your hand, but it wouldn't be as alarming as a torch would likely be, so shouldn't bother it too much.
During first watch you are keeping an eye out, with both Nodwick and Nissa keeping you company. The first bit is uneventful, nothing but the normal sounds of the grasslands around.
After about a half-hour though the land goes suddenly quiet all around. Birds stop chirping in the grasses, those small rustling you knew were only tiny rodents seeking food, even the sounds of bugs, all suddenly vanished.
A sound replaced them though. The flapping of massive wings. As you looked up, the still-light-enough sky revealed a large, quite unmistakeable shape flying over the camp. A dragon.
It clearly noticed your camp, though is some distance up. It wheels in the sky, circling the campsite once, then flies off. Taviel can see itfor some distance, until it swoops down and out of sight.
(I believe Toc was meditating during this visit - it was a first shift ;))
The dragon was gone and there was no reason for alarm, so Taviel simply waited for the time to wake up Germain. "You know, I could swear we've been visited by the golden dragon. The shape is unmistakable! Though..." She did not explain what did she mean by "though" but went to sleep with a dreamy smile on her face.
During the ride on the previous day you are able to concentrate enough on your ritual and recast the spell for your bat familiar. Out of the flames flies a hawk this time, which soars out above the group.
The hawk swoops in the air around the group, circling to get a look at the other creatures flying about. It doesn't spot anything out of the ordinary for the area, small birds, larger ones, but nothing dangerous to the group.
... Now back to normal time.
The rest of the night is uneventful.
You wake the next morning. Anything you doing prior to heading out?
Germain sees the smile on her face and as she drifts off, she hears him quietly talking to Vilrana, "A dragon golden, A pleasant omen, Chase her dreams so sweet, 'til the morning we greet."
He spends the rest of his watch keeping an eye on the sky and playing with Vilrana. In the morning he gathers his things and is ready to head out early.
In the morning, Toc is ready to head out early as well. He casts his morning casting of his Mage Armor spell on himself, and talks to his horse quietly while getting it saddled and ready to go. Once done, he moves about making sure everything is properly sorted with the extra horses and then mounts up. His familiar appears into existence on his arm, and he launches it into the sky. "Watch for spies...." he tells it in its mind.

Germain would ride near the back of the group, leading the pack horse with his pseudodragon, Vilrana, riding it happily.
He would take 2nd watch with Vilrana helping him, using his crafted goggles of night vision to help him see.
