This is the start of the game. Who takes the first job?
Note: Checking in. To check in, your whole party has to respond to the bounty. (YOUR party, not all players.)The first group to achieve that gets the job.
You are all sitting in the top of a flat top building , thick rain is pouring down on you and your "nest". The target building is on the other side of the street, a tall tower once under Waterdeep government control. You have been sitting here for 5 days waiting for the mark.
Mardon Bree waits for the arrival of his squad mates, absently shuffling a deck of playing cards as he does, with his legs propped up on a table, and a hand rolled cigarette hanging out of the edge of his mouth lazily trailing smoke.
He is a dark skinned man in his early 30s, still without an ounce of fat on his lithe form due to his constant training and dangerous lifestyle. He is 5’11, and wearing scale mail at present, his hand crossbow at his side ready to be drawn in an instant, and four loaded cases of crossbow bolts on his person. His head is shaved and his well kept beard ends in a forked pair of points.
His languid brown eyes suggest a lazy familiarity with his surroundings in the enclave of Force Gray. His back pack sets besides him, containing his thieves tools and other gear.
When the first of his squad mates approach, he takes a drag of his cigarette and says, “Fine day for the good guys to shoot at the bad guys. We ready to roll?”
Grafyr is a half elf, sporting the odd combination of dark hair and bristly beard with pointy ears and delicate features. He wears a pair of tough, leather pants with a soft, powder blue shirt, and dark leather duster, having a shining steel wand in a belt holster. No spurs, but he’s not opposed to it.
A crow sits on his shoulders, and is often... disconcerting. It doesn’t behave the way it should. Neither do Grafyr’s Spells for that matter. That said, he gets the job done, so most people he works for don’t give much more than lip service to those concerns.
He is a lanky human with a handcrossbow holstered at one hip and a rapier at the other. He wears clothing of dark gray and black and seems more accustomed to darker areas than ones well-lit.
OOC: Honestly I don't 100% recall the teams decided on in the prior chat. Was it all the "gunslingers," the blazing fast hand crossbow shooters, in a group? DragonDenn, do you recall for sure?

It is you, me, and nschrock, in one group. I am the utility/healer, but can also help with ranged combat too. One of you is the protector and one the sniper.

Mardon rises up, taking his boots off the table and sliding the cards back into a pile which he taps and straightens out, then places within a pouch. He places a wide, white brimmed hat on his head that was laying nearby, tipping it to each of his group members, Rubin and Grafyr. Taking the cigarette from his mouth, he says, "Alright, boys. Let's get us some work. Idle hands are devils' playgrounds." He goes with his mates to sign up for a job.
So for now, only one team is going through the adventure (Izraal1, nschock and DragonDenn) are going through the adventure, the other teams will have to wait for the next bounty posting on the bounty posting PM (also please put the OOC in the PM)
The current mission is to retrieve a crate held by the tyrant of the territory in the Dock Ward, Drago Ironfist which he apparently ordered from a realm named Ravniva. The package seemed to be arriving today.

OOC: Should we introduce our characters? I know the assumption is we have established squads we have worked with before, yes?
Yes, why not?

placeholder: I should be with Desmond/Rolim but I don't know which is the third: maybe Mardon/Izraal?
Rubin walks in and takes a seat. "Ready to go."

Izraal1 is with DragonDenn, I think we still need a third.

(OOC: I thought the third was optional. Didn't the recruitment thread say 2 with an optional 3rd?)
It does say a third player is optional. I can multiclass as a cleric so I can double as a healer/sniper. @dndpro100, is that fine with you?
(Edit: Nevermind, we got a third player.)
