((That was the plan, but things got really out of hand in other threads. Initiative wasn’t as good an idea as I thought.))
Natath will need to make a wisdom saving throw, as some kind of effect seems to be keeping people from using violence against their doubles as a way to prove themselves.
For the voting on who is the fake, what happens in a tie vote? If one person votes that I’m the doppelgänger, and the other person votes dm is the doppelgänger, who blows up?
You three (PC versions) watch as your doubles are teleported on the inside of the barrier, in which there is a bomb. You hear the tick, tick, tick.
Then it explodes. You three see the explosion consume your doubles, right before they all vanish into black mist. You hear the voice of Iorith Magnus boom throughout the arena.
”Amazing! Our third group of players have managed to eliminate every single doppleganger! They all live to see the next challenge!”
“The first challenge has ended. Two of our dear gladiators have left their mangled remains behind, and their souls are forever tethered to the arena. Congratulations to all who survived! Before we continue, you 10 each get a prize. Here is an orb of desire.”
A small bright crystal-like ball descends from the sky and hovers in front of you.
The “orb of desire” is just flavor. You can pick between gaining one level or getting one Uncommon item with no restrictions.
A faint boom is heard as the two walls drop down. You see the black mist swirl out of the ground, turning into various monsters. You also see the black mist cover the ground, turning it into difficult terrain. You see, behind the army of monster, a light green glow, though you can not make out what it is.
You hear the voice of Iorith Magnus reach out to the corners of the arena. “Here is your next challenge. You must pass through my little sea of unmoving monsters and get to the tinier zone of safety on the opposite corner. The damned souls on the ground will attempt to hold you in place at the worst of moments, so watch where you step. Now, ready! Set! Survive!”
The ground has turned into difficult terrain. You can only move up to half your speed, rounded up if your MS is an odd number. The monsters will not move at all, but will attack if you stop next to them. They will take opportunity attacks as you leave their reach. Good luck.
I’m going to move my 15 ft. diagonally towards the safezone, and attempt to cast Eldritch blast on the nearby assassin bug 2 spaces to the right of me. (I say attempt, because I don’t know yet if there’s still the anti magic field)
Attack roll 1: 11
Damage: 12
Attack roll 2: 21
Damage: 14
For each blast that hits, I’ll also move the bug 10 ft. away in a straight line.
Uhh no initiative order in this one. And just to be clear, you know the point is not to kill them right? I mean, you can try, but it’s not the goal here.
Also, when you move to a certain spot, please tell me which coordinates on the map you’re going to.
So a tie for Natath and Zylxian, both vote DM for Vitae. So what happens in a tie?

Not sure what you mean by that

It’s a 50/50. I would roll a d100, with the DM character being safe on 1-50 and the player being safe on 51-100.
Natath: 60
Zylxian: 78
That does not pass.
That's fine, I don't do anything else

Natath gives a nod, then looks to her new teammates. "What now?"

You can say your pick in the group 3 pm.

(Are we doing initative order or no?)
Natath moves to the right as far as she can, getting closer to her companions. She will then fire two arrows at the Ankeg near the bottom.
Attack: 12 Damage: 8
Attack: 17 Damage: 5

ooc I will take the level.
Coordinates for where I’m going is 8, 5. And yeah ik the point isn’t to kill them, I’m just trying to attack to use Repelling Blast
I figured as much. I was asking darrrrrah. And wdym by 8, 5?
Sorry, I94. Hadn’t realized that the graph already had coordinates, was just doing (x, y)
I move to I91
