<OOC: Morning! Happy to be a part of the team. The campaign link isn't working. It just brings me to my active campaigns. Or do we need to create the campaign?>
OOC: I think Drizzit73 had a celestial warlock build idea for the "sniper". Let me know what you would like Balthazar and I can fill. I have lots of ideas. I have pretty even stats so I will be able to do pretty much any insane idea I can come up with.
I had a celestial warlock sniper with Eldritch Smite for some extra uumph in the initial shot on the target. I can tweak him if needed to be a protector or utility. I'm envisioning him as an alternative to the oath of vengence paladin. Link below for him.
Character is not even named yet but my concept is a monk that set out in the world to learn new things. In order to test the skills he is learning he became a bounty hunter. The resulting abomination is what happened. This build should make a great frontline fighter. His power would be short-lived though cause it will burn through spell slots with both heals and smites.
Wraith leans back in his chair in an attempt to ease his cramped muscles from last nights surveillance of a potential mark. He was waiting for his contact and enjoying a mug of mulled wine. His eyes shifted from patron to patron in the crowded tavern. He was uncomfortable as he always was in crowded situations. The one comfort was finding an open table where he could wait with his back to a wall and observe the main entrance to the tavern as well as the pit. Wraith settled in for a long wait.
Wraith nods to Roldos as he takes his seat. Wraith says, "It appears we have some down time for a bit while our companion takes care of some personal matters. What do you make of our man in black? He doesn't look familiar to me. Do you recognize him?" Wraith makes a point to not look directly at the man in the black cloak as he speaks to Roldos to not draw attention to their scrutiny of him.
Tenrow enters the Yawning Portal and glances around until he notices his companions, then makes his way quickly to their table. "Sorry, I'm not too late am I? It's going to take me a while to get used to all these streets." Tenrow takes a seat while uneasily glancing at the gaping pit in the center of the large common room. "No matter how many times I see that it still unnerves me. I get the feeling it is unnatural, somehow."

So you are sitting at the yawning portal awaiting instructions from your contact.

By the ways, thanks to BizzareBalthazar who enabled content sharing, we can not only access the map of waterdeep from Waterdeep: Dragon Hiest, but many other D&D products.

While we wait for the others, a man in a black cloak comes in.
Roldos sits next to Wraith. "Looks like our trio is only a pair for now." Roldos eyes the man in the black cloak as he makes his way in.
Wraith nods to Roldos as he takes his seat. Wraith says, "It appears we have some down time for a bit while our companion takes care of some personal matters. What do you make of our man in black? Insight check. Should we approach the man in black: 8
OOC: Can we tell the race? Does he look wealthy?
"Doesn't look like a regular to me." Responds Roldos.
You know him, he is your contact, X
