Twitch, being the only actual member of the Crew down here is fascinated by the language, able to pick up some Things but feeling completely lost at other passages. She tries  to address the goblins based off what she heard in their own tongue :

"Ti has sep Name Thamara, but vie khal call si Twitch. I'm ae lass con sep ship, ti kahl parley con sep boss." 

She gives a Broad smile, hoping she got her point across. For someone trying to figure out their language, she's particularly careful with hr body language, trying to convince them that she was on their side and willing to help them.

OOC: I actually have no idea how the language works, but it looks awesome as hell, and I wanted to try it out as Twitch, as she's trying to persuade the goblins to follow along. Since I don't actually know what she said, or whether what she said made sense, I am holding off on any rolls so far.

The goblins seem confused and amused, but they seem to take Twitch's words in friendly fashion. (Reverse translator says "I has the name thamara, but can khal call me twitch. I'm a lass eat the ship, i you parley eat the boss." You probably didn't get the accent quite right. XD )

One goblin points to himself and says, "Eenrit," points to the other goblin and says "Rugat"

Si'Juul goes up in the deck dragging the giant spiders. When he drops them at the Captain's feet, the man yells and jumps back with horror and revulsion. The rest of the crew gathers around to stare at the hairy arachnid corpses, exclaiming in wonder and fear.

"Amazing!" Captain Haba says.  "You've certainly earned at least part of your pay.  Have you cleared out all the rats and spiders, then?" He looks back toward the hatch. "And your companions...did they...not survive?"

(Gone to summer schedule hours, I have much longer weekdays, especially Wed-Friday, but Saturday off.  And my boss is making sure to keep us busy so our paychecks are justified while we only do curbside service, so I am a bit shorter on free time than I used to be, sorry!)

"You really need to clean your ship more often. These aren't even all the spiders. Didn't see too many rats, but on a ratty ship as this you're going to have them anyway. As for the others they are still belowdecks."

Si'Juul leaves the spiders corpses there and walks back down to the group.

"Captain says we gotta get rid of the rats if we want full pay. Oh, and Elhanna, since you seem to speak goblin you can tell them I never mentioned them to the captain."

Twtitch is getting up on board, and with a bright, brimming smile, strides over to the captain: "Oy, cap, we got'em all. Unless you want to come down and check for yourself. I got a condition for you though. Poor Elhanna is terrified of spiders, and still helped you out. No more tasks like those, she's going to be helping me and the bosun repair the sails, and earn her keep that way. That sound fair to you?"

Paren looks up as the birdman comes back. "Did anyone see any rats? Do our new friends here know if there are any rats?" 

"Considering how little the captain cares for keeping his ship clean, hence why we are down here in the first place, I would assume there are at least a few rats. Let's resume, shall we?"

Si'Juul resumes scouring the hold, visibly wounded but not showing any reaction to it.

OOC: The goblins claimed they ate them all, though we saw a few of them still scurrying around.

(They have clearly nott eaten ALL the rats, because you have seen quite a few up in the forward starboard (northeast) area.)

Eenrit answers Elhanna, "Ak kahl det encam sep rats, sto vol not con?"

Rugat looks back at the fallen goblins glumly and says, "Sun, crey ha always Boogar, Poinki, Wixkak el Zete. Set probablrit biy ek cake anrit mear."

Paren walks towards where the rats were, a big smile on his face. "Let's just get one or two and bring them to the Captain. Is he really going to come down and check?" 

 About now, the knocked-out goblin groans and sits up, and the hamstrung goblin starts crying and yelling. Rugat says, "Dyel, sef Boogar el Poinki vol ran aftar encam."

Elhanna relay what Si’Juul said and then giggle at Eenrit and at the same time she is horrified by it. “don’t worry, i’ll make suke kahl ha take cake za. Just fal’tah fal anrit funnrit business while nef mei ship el trrit tam keep kahl'iy heads di, okey?”

 Then she proceed in interdicting the goblins to all her new friends. “This is Twitch and Paren and I’m alsorry mr.bird but I don’t think that I got your name, I’m Elhanna.” She point at every one in order and tell them “this is Eerit, Rugat and the two unconscious are Boogar and Ponki.”

Si'Juul keeps eyes on the rats, but also listens in on the group. He gets a look as if considering something, an internal debate.

Eventually he just sighs and says,                                  "My name is Si'Juul."

(The J with the fancy sound like "Jacques")

Eenrit, Rugat and Boogar start gathering up the remains of their scorched meal and discussing what is going to become of Poinki, who can't walk any more. Even the non-goblin speakers can pick up on this, with all the looks and gestures toward the fallen goblin, shrugs and head-shakes. Poinki does not look optimistic about his future.

Paren walks over. "Might I have a look? My order specializes in the proper treatment of the injured." Without waiting for an answer he sets to work looking over the injured goblin to see if any of the techniques he learned may be of help.

Medicine: 5

Seeing this, Elhanna will obviously help.

Unfortunately for the goblin Paren didn't pay much attention during this sort of training.
