"Well you see, we were celebrating my book, Volo's Guide to Monsters. Spectacular book for adventuring if I do say so myself, which of course I do. As I was saying, we went out drinking. This would have been around 2 nights ago, this dark, bawdy tavern in the Dock Ward called the Skewered Dragon. Great ale, let me tell you. If you haven't tried it, you gotta. I hit some writers block on my new book, Volo's Guide to Spirits and Specters. So we went drinking. I left before he did, was running low on gambling money. Haven't seen him since. He is a rather handsome young fella, in his thirties, lovely locks of wavy red-blond hair, dresses like a prince, and acts like one sometimes."
Cora nodded thoughtfully. "Hm. Guide to Monsters. I've heard of this book."she said. Then, "The Skewered Dragon. Sounds like a lovely place. Probably a lot better than The Whore's Nipple, I bet."she added, mostly to herself, as if remembering something unpleasant. She rubbed her troll bite, which still hurt a bit, since the clerics didn't heal her to full - she reminded herself to get patched up before they shoved off.
Oooh.. Thank you Heishe, that makes sense." Lu-lu nods sagely. She turns back and smiles at Volo, "Is there anything else we should know about your friend, or the bar itself?"

Vincent gratefully takes Cora's hand in getting up because he totally was down that fight because I'm an IDIOT and don't know how to READ, and gives a thank you to the clerics and Lulu who gave him some much needed healing. "Gh, oof... Didn't think I'd be that out of touch with fightin'... Thank ya for the help. We win though?" He glances about, not seeing any troll, then his eyes go down to see blood on his blade, assuming he at least did something to the creature before it went down. "Aye, we did."He gives Cora a pat on the shoulder. "Remind me not to get on your bad side, eh?"With a chuckle he sets off to sit back down at the table to listen to the mans job offer.
He leans back in his seat as he listens, taking mental notes along the way had they been needed. "Well, I can't say no to a job like that now, can I? Alright... Along with Lulu's questions, you know if he had any enemies? Remember any shady faces at the tavern?"

"Enemies? Of course not. Everyone liked him. Just like everyone likes me. And we would be here all day if I mentioned every shady face in that bar. It is a fine seedy establishment."
Lu-lu slowly starts to raise a hand to ask a question, Heishe softly catches it and pushes it back down, “Not actual seeds, Lu-lu.” Lu-lu nods with understanding, “Right, right. Thank you, Heishe.” Lu-lu shoots Heishe a glittery smile, the patches of opal on her skin flash and shimmer from the light in the tavern in tandem.

"Yeah, one sec."Cora says, standing. She grabs a cup of ale, and pounds the whole thing back like it was fruit punch, gulping usually loudly. With a loud AHHH, she slammed the mug down and nodded once, ready.
As the group walks out of the tavern, Bonnie catches Lu-lu at the door with a MASSIVE paper sack. “Here you are Lu-lu, the rest of your dinner special, to-go” lu-lu smiles widely at Bonnie, “Thanks Bonnie! Have a great troll-less night!”
As you begin to make your way to the Dock Ward, you turn a corner, you find yourselves on a street that has been cordoned off by the City Watch. Lying on the cobblestones are a half-dozen corpses, seemingly the victims of some terrible skirmish. Watch officers have disarmed and arrested three blood-drenched humans and are in the midst of questioning witnesses. One of the officers sees you. “Get on,” she says. “Nothing to see here.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lu-lu walks up and puts a hand out to shake the quardsperson's hand, "Tallulah, initiate of the Order of Aster. Me and my friends here have been tasked with personally investigating the disappearance of Floon Blagmar, red-haired princely fellow. Can we have permission to investigate the area? This is where he was last seen." PERSUASION: 15

Lu-lu sits back down as Volothamp is talking. She somewhat loudly slurps a drink, which she chokes on at that last bit, "Ptaaw! He's a prince?!"

"No, just acts like one, although it could certainly be argued that the difference is blurry." Heishe says with a faint smile.

"You can get on my bad side if you want." Cora admitted. "I mean, if you wanna die." she joked, partially kidding. "But yeah. We won."

"I don't know who could be a suspect. I'm just worried about a friend."
"Very well, Mr. Geddarm. Does anyone else have any questions before we start searching for this Floon?"

"Sounds to me like a typical search and extraction." Cora mentioned. "Easy peasy."
Heishe gives Lu-lu a wink before turning her attention back to Volo. "Mmm, suppose not. Shall we?"

Cora walked as slowly as she could while still being able to peer into the scene of corpses. Hm. What have we here. Let's just take a quick look-see.

"Why does this all look so familiar.." Cora muttered to herself as she looked around casually.
"Are you sure that we can't be of any assistance in this case, officer?" Drusilla asks, trying to divert attention from Cora.
