"The exact location of the Court of Orestes is lost to history, but ancient tales hint that it lies along the Khystonos River," explains Khea. "This narrow river is about three days’ travel from Setessa."
She then stands, giving herself a moment to stretch. "I've heard of an earthquake that dammed the headwaters of the Khystonos deep in the Katachton Mountains; so, the river’s flow has been reduced to a trickle for nearly a month, parching the region downstream. Seems the discovery of ancient etchings and ruined structures hidden beneath the waterline has roused many scholars’ interest."
Approaching one of the many shelves full of scrolls and parchment, Khea removes a map and points to a location upon it. "Here. That's where I'd expect to find the ruins. But one never knows. The three of you make an odd trio to be upon a god's errand. Nevertheless, it would be unwise to avoid this, I suppose."
Muraz starts to stomp, and drag one of his hooves along the ground. Breathing heavily from his nostrils.
Maybe a true, enthralling battle awaits us! This is exciting! I haven't fought a real opponent since I began wandering through the realm. I have also been a little low on funds as of late. Seems being a wanderer doesn't keep the pockets full so maybe we could find a bit of loot. As much as I would like to set off with haste, it might be a good idea to stock up on some supplies for our journey ahead. What's say we look around the market first and then head out?
Evios bends a front leg and bows his head toward Khea. Again, thank you for all of your guidance. We accept this map with gratitude. I hope you can ignore my youthful impudence and we can part friends. If you're ever in need of any assistance I am at your service. Before my companions and I head out, do you have any final recommendations for places we should visit in the marketplace that might provide provisions on our journey?

Khea looks at Muraz and mild concern passes over her face. "Yes, battle and loot may await you, minotaur. Let not your love of such things blind you to wisdom and discretion."
Turning to Evios, she continues, "You are welcome, centaur. If you step within my home a second time, you shall be required to tell me of the ruins of Orestes. The marketplace, you say? Spend an hour or two there and you shall find more than you will ever need."
Lastly, Khea looks at Scufflebutt. "Be wary! Your paths have crossed with Phenax for some reason or another. Not all will be what it seems!"

Thirty minutes later, the three adventurers stand amid the noise, activity, and excitement of the Abora. In a moment's glance, they see all manner of vendors and merchants--fruits, vegetables, grains, butchered meats, livestock, poultry, clothing (both simple and fine), fabrics, tapestries, dyes, ointments, salves, wine, ale, woodworking, arts, crafts, leatherwork, trinkets, weapons and armor to name a few...
Evios tells his companions that he needs to find either a temple or shop that deals with rare antiquities and begins to ask the vendors closest to them where he could find these places.

The time spent in Khea's home was sufficient for Evios to shake off the ill effects of last night's drinking. The centaur asks a few merchants of the whereabouts of an antiquities dealer and is told rather abruptly by an old satyr, "Myrana. Tent beneath the olive trees."
A few minutes later, Evios, Scufflebutt, and Muraz approach a large, brightly-colored tent that is a garish splash of oranges and yellows amid the many drab tents that stand nearby. Within the tent, a raven-haired human woman in her mid-thirties is conversing with an elderly human man; the two are discussing an ornate dagger that rests on the table between them.
Aware of the three adventurers' presence, the woman looks up, smiles warmly and says, "I am Myrana. What do you seek?"
Evios speaks up, attempting to sound much older and experienced than the peach fuzz on his chin indicates.
Greetings! I am Evios. Judging by the way you're regarding me, along with the others I've come across in my short time here, you recognize I'm not from around here. I'm a Pheres Renegade of the Clan Bri in the High Forest. i have come all this way to see if anyone in Setessa can help me identify what this is. And as he utters those final words, the young druid produces a sphere of brass covered in a foreign script.
If you please, have you ever seen anything like this before? Or can you direct me to someone you think would know?

Evios regards Myrana's face, wondering if he should actually put the sphere in her hand. You've come ALL this way, he thinks to himself, you might as well.
Evios holds the sphere out to Myrana, slowly loosening his grip, finally depositing it into her waiting hands.

Myrana narrows her eyes and scrutinizes the object in Evios's hand. "Please. Allow me to hold it so that I may see it better, Evios."
Evios regards Myrana's face, wondering if he should actually put the sphere in her hand. You've come ALL this way, he thinks to himself, you might as well.
