The Tales of Faerûn - Campaign Thread

Misha says "Fall back, make them work to get too us!" He uses his bonfire spell on the one he just hit  (Dex dc13 fire damage 3) if he can he'll place it inbetween the ones that are five foot of each other. Then moves back 30ft

As the arrow glances off her armor, Saravena shoots at the oncoming goblins then retreats back 30ft with Misha 

Attack: 20 Damage: 5+3 lightning damage

Rashana nods at Misha's suggestion, launches another arrow then starts falling back. 

Attack nearest goblin: 10 Damage: 4 (disadvantage roll if more than 80' away: 7)

Move: Away from goblins

A little annoyed at the suggestion of falling back, Tagret stays put and

If they are still more than 30ft away he throws another javelin at one of the goblins that has already been hurt
Javelin Attack: 23 Damage: 11

If it looks like they will get to him in the next round he will instead hold his attacks and attack recklessly if any close within melee range

Handaxe 1 Attack: 21 Damage: 18
Handaxe 2 Attack: 9 Damage: 2

Misha creates a bonfire to separate the goblins up.

Saravena returns fire on the goblin. However, he twists and ducks out of the way. The crackling arrow soars over heard and lands in the grass behind the goblin.

Rashana fires an arrow at the nearest goblin. However, he raises his arm and blocks the arrow with his vambrace. The arrow splinters on impact.

Tagret ignores the instruction from Misha, and stays put. He braces himself for an attack on the goblins.

The three goblins at the front continue running at the group. Two goblins draw close to Tagret. He unleashes a swing with one hand axe and cleaves the goblin's head off. The second axe strikes another goblin but only scratches the goblin's cheek.

In retaliation, the surviving goblin swings his scimitar at Tagret.

(Attack: 16 Damage: 3 slashing damage.)

The three archers draw closer before firing another volley of arrows.

The one on the left fires an arrow at Misha, the middle one fires at Targret, and the one on the right fires at Saravena.

(Left Goblin Attack: 8 Damage: 5 piercing damage.)
(Middle Goblin Attack: 20 Damage: 7 piercing damage.)
(Right Goblin Attack: 18 Damage: 5 piercing damage.)

Misha Reacts with a shield from the staff of defense raising his AC to 20

Then fires off an eldritch blast Retaliating against the one who shot at him Attack: 21 Damage: 13 The one on the left.

Saravena groans with the blow of an arrow she moves closer and steadfastly aims her hand crossbow Attack: 13 Damage: 9 Lightning damage =2

So Saravena dose 9 damage To the goblin  on the right.

Seeing Tagret hold position, Rashana sighs and drops her bow.

"We are not as one body with but a single mind," she says as she draws her Yklwa and advances on the goblins attacking him.

Attack 1: 17 Damage: 5

Attack 2: 9 Damage: 4

Misha's eldritch blast strikes the goblin in the chest. It knocks the creature flying and it lands on the floor dead.

Saravena charges another crossbow bolt before firing it at another goblin, killing him.

Rashana advances on her target, and with her Yklwa she kills the goblin.

This leaves one remaining goblin standing.

(Tagret's turn)

Satisfied that the group has made short work of the goblins Tagret presses his attacks, but uses the flats of his handaxes to deliver non-lethal damage, knowing that it would be far more satisfying to find out where the rest of these vermin were, than to just kill one more of the little pests.

Handaxe 1 Attack: 19 Damage: 11
Handaxe 2 Attack: 20 Damage: 1

And as the goblin crashes to the ground, unconcious, he turns to the others "There, that weren't so difficult....and here's your informant...someone should stabilise the runt"

"I guess we gave them every chance. I thought you guys cleared the goblins out from that way." He points north.

(Make a sleight of hand check if you want to tie up the golin.)

Saravena slaps her manacles on the goblins feet. Slight of hand 6 as she then tries to tie up the goblins hands

Rashana will assist Misha in tying up the goblin. "A quick retreat may be in order. There may be more," she says as she works.

Tagret approaches the goblin and gives it a kick to see if it rouses.  If it is still unconcious he says "Wake the damn thing up if ye can, we need answers!"

If someone can wake the creature, he glances at the others with a wink (looking for HELP), and then starts to interrogate it in common (obviously) "Hey runt, see what became of the rest of your filthy clan mates.  You better start talking or I'll just as happily slit yer damn throat as well......so let's start with where ye from and what stupidity was behind attacking us?"

Intimidation 13 (if HELP then advantage 5)

If the group can't wake the goblin, he says "Later then" and slings the goblin over his shoulder before hefting the arsenal of weapons from the cave "No point waiting, let's get back to town"

Misha shrugs "Maybe they were just thugs doing what goblins do. We could get our friends to talk to him. Shame we had to kill all but this one." He walks with the others to Phandelin. He stops "Anybody need healing? Or should we just take a short rest? I don't like being in the open like this."
