You can tell the Wand of Polymorph is fake. As it looks like a bunch of branches tied together by thin rope.

You can't tell if the bag of holding is genuine or fake.

The Staff of Healing indeed looks genuine, its fine craftswork of the totem atop speaks its truth. 

 

( Assuming Kal has relayed this information back) “Well mr shopkeeper sir, keeping your city safe was one hard task, we nearly died - we plan to protect you no matter the cost but.... we’ll be no good to you if we are deceased. This here staff, seems like it could save us and yourself if we get in a pinch. Surely you can drop that price a little, for a promise of protection?”

 "You think that is fake? No, our products are completely real, that wand just looks fake."

 “I never said I thought the wand was fake good sir, I’m sure it is completely real - in fact, I will happily tell everybody how real all of your stock is, and how you yourself, saved the lives of the brave heroes, during my performance tonight of today’s events. All I ask in return, is a small discount on that staff of healing, call it a saviours fee.” 

As the shopkeeper thinks about this, the Visage will perform an excerpt of his later performance - the scene in which the owner of scabby dog comes out and saves the group using his wand of polymorph

  (The owner is female) "That was very good, but also very insulting. Also, you may have saved my shop, but you also caused damage to it." She points at the hole Elias' warhammer left in the door. "I should be charging you extra for that, but since you saved my shop, and also gave an impressively insulting performance, I'll charge you standard price. 25E for the staff please"

(Fantastic, the performance later on in the inn showed the owner of scabby dog in a very different light, it’s fair to call it slander - an actual insulting performance)

After browsing around Marrick will turn to the others and says I'm going to head back to the tavern your friend said they were going to perform at. After all this I could do with a good show.

"Alright, so who's going to be keeping an eye on the soldiers?"

Kal shakes his head.  "I'm ready to go."

At Enra's question, he responds, "I guess I could keep an eye on the soldiers.  I've got a crossbow, so if we get attacked I can still be useful from on the cart."

Enra smiles "Great, let's head out! Oh, my father will be right there in that seat behind the cart." She points at a seating area in the back of the cart, in which the king sits down in.

While going through the fields, it is quite empty, there were no creatures in the area, just a bunch of tall grass and wildflowers. But then, the cart comes to a sudden halt, something in the grass slowly approaches you, and a trio of gnolls pop out of the grass to attack. (Everyone roll initiative)

The Visage lets out a scream as an arrow pierces into her shoulder. For the first time, she is speechless. She pulls out her crossbow and looses a bolt at the gnoll attacking Marrick, before crouching behind the cart taking cover.

Enra strikes back at the gnoll who attacked Visage, then goes over to her and asks "Are you ok?"

Gnoll 3 lets out a hysterical laugh as Enra misses her attacks. It then, still laughing, fires an arrow at Kal.

The Visage looks as if the colour has been drained from her, her hair and skin a pale white and her features androgynous yet bland . “I.. I’ve never been hit by a real arrow before... it hurts.. I... I’m just an artist.. I’m not cut out to be a hero.”

 "No, don't say that, you are a hero, I mean, you helped save out town. Here, let me help with that." She lifts up a hand, points two fingers at the wound, then suddenly, as golden magic energy comes from it, the wound heals up, the pain disappears "My father may be human, but I'm half elven. I know of a spell or two. Now come on, we can get through, together."
