Background: City Watch/Investigator
Backstory: Maurice Demont, Officer of the Court and Investigator Extrodinaire. The Demont Family are witches, at least that is what is whispered in certain circles. Maurice, like most of his kin, was born with exceptional abilities and as a matter of family pride, are trained from birth to master them. Many a Sorcerer, Druid, and Wizard takes up the Demont mantle and gain fame far and wide for their skills and powers and Maurice is no exception. His powers were evident from birth and with physical training and private family tutelage, he became the next in line to go into the world and represent the Demont Family name.

  The Church, namely Bishop Jean-Paul, has preached fear and hate towards the Demont Family, claiming demonic associations and the like. This has put the Demont Family in a spot, having to defend themselves from government investigation and interventions and church scrutiny. It was discovered during secret meetings with representatives of the Bishop and family members that the Bishop desires the Demont Family answer to him and act as his agents in some nefarious scheme. The family refused and were panicked on how to precede when Maurice stepped forward and took matters into his own hands. Maurice volunteered and was accepted into the ranks of the Court and became an investigator. This has thwarted the Bishop's scheme, for now, but Family Seers have seen a time when the Bishop brings down the Demont Family. Maurice hopes his actions divert this and save his family.

Brick stares at the chicken. Unsure of what to do, he's eaten chicken before... Is that what's supposed to happen? If he's supposed to eat it then he'll need to probably catch it. He pulls out his maul and approaches it very 'stealthily'

Oh... Well I guess I should have expected that. 

Despite the murmurs of the crowd now gathering around you, you look around. It has been rumored that this was the place to be, awesome bars, cheap living, and cults... So many cults. Sadly none of this is why you're here, you're here because rumor has it that a new cult has started to rise up, and your job is to try to stop them. ( Unless you don't and derail my campaign somehow ).

Bob's intuition tells him that the best place to find a quest is a tavern because it's the most cliche, The closest one right now is called the liberated dragon tavern and inn. Looking around some more you see two other people chasing around chickens. What? Does this town have like a chicken pandemic?
