"Well, now that we know it's there, I can try to disarm it."
Mal takes a few small items out of his pouch, and returns to the doorway, assessing the best way to disable the trap.
Sleight of Hand: 8 or Dexterity check: 22
Mals best determination is that it wasn't a trap as such but rather a build up of methane and other noxious gases from all the substances that were emptied down the drain all thos e years ago....he determines it will be a few hours at least before the gases build up to dangerous levels again....
Krikoris stops Khutulan from entering for a moment, and tosses a bolt of flame into the room to burn off any excess methane first.
Once the remaining gas is consumed with a small pop sound, Khutulun is able to cross the room and open the small cabinet. Within are a number of badly tarnished surgical implements and a number of jars with thick wax stoppers.
Khutulun notes one of the scalpels is free of rust and tarnish despite the conditions within the cabinet and that the jars smell vaguely of rice vinegar and contain various organs, eyes and tongues.
"I'm not going to take them if that is what you are asking. But see this scalpel? It has not rust, it is brand new. Someone has been down here using these facilities."

With his slightly better knowledge of the arcane, Krikoris considers the eye carefully, before carefully moving the glass to an empty spot on the floor and incinerating it.

Krikoris is unsure exactly what this is but he does get a mystical sense of something greater regarding him through the eye. The glass container explodes and the eyes within sizzle and pop, the one that was regarding them wriggles slightly as it is destroyed.
Mal continued on to the corner and peered around it, there were no torches in the corridor that continued beyond the corner but his keen eyes were able to make out a door some 10' ahead in the left wall and another door at the end of the corridor.

Mal steps back, puts his tools away, and says "There you go, trap disarmed. Should be perfectly safe for a few hours, po."
Khutulun nods and enters the room, treading gingerly to start with.

As Khutulun points at the cabinet one of the eyes in the jar turns to stare at her.
"Well... i didn't expect that... that eye is watching us."
OCC: Would Khutulun know if the eye itself is animated or if someone could be looking through it using magic?

"This is making me nervous, po - we should keep moving, yes?" Mal starts looking around, definitely on edge.
Uce, who's been silent this whole time, says nothing and looks away from the wiggling eye.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.

Mal will head out of the room and continue down the hall in the same direction, looking for the next door or corner.
Krikoris continues to follow them, "Should I light a torch? Or are we still sneaking?"
Mal continued on to the corner and peered around it, there were no torches in the corridor that continued beyond the corner but his keen eyes were able to make out a door some 10' ahead in the left wall and another door at the end of the corridor.
