OOC: With the disadvantage on the zombie's swing, it missed the lucky little bird bard. He's still hurting, but conscious. Unfortunately, disadvantage for the skeleton didn't discourage it enough. If only Cade's paws were bludgeons instead of slice-n-dicers, we would be clear already. ;-)

As the final foe falls, the dungeon goes quiet except for the heavy breathing from battle. You look around and find yourself in a columned room or hallway, about 20' wide and 50' long, with a column at 10' from the south end, another at 30' and a third where this area intersects with where you entered from the bottom of the stairs. Five wooden doors are evenly spaced along the west wall and all are open revealing 10'x10' cell-like rooms inside. The east wall is pierced by a 10' wide open that leads into what looks like a similar sized area beyond. Back in the area where with the stairs, it runs more east-west for about 60' and 40' north south. Along the west wall is a heaping pile of old and broken furniture piled nigh to the ceiling.
Perception checks for: West end of stairs room, east end of stairs room, any of the cells checked (5 of these all total) and looking into the southeast opening/chamber. (So, up to 8 different checks.) Make as many, or few as you like, just label each that you make with its location.
"Thank you." Kina says to Rachel, flexing her rear leg near the wound. There's just a scrape, not something she's too worried about left. She then searches for lanterns or torches to light. She doesn't do so well in the dark. "I'm guessing that this is where they held some of their prisoners." she says while searching to shed a little more light on the room. She's more interested in checking the cells as well, looking for some sort of clues as to whether they actually held anyone recently and if so, where they went or how long they'd been there.

Your investigations turn up a few things: The chamber beyond the southeast opening appears to have once been a torture chamber, but no recent signs of use or occupancy. The southern most cell has a stone block that seems odd. Touching it reveals that it is loose. The east end of the stairs room shows traffic moving to and from the closed door there. Quantity and direction remain a mystery however. The piled furniture by the west wall is significantly newer than anything else you have found here so far. You are not sure, but you think you heard something from behind it.

Barnabus stands guard while everyone searches. He's confident they'll find what's needing found. Upon hearing that there has been activity at the door near the east end stairs he positions himself in front of it. He stands ready to intercept any new threats.
Kina stands in front of the piled furniture, hoof scraping the ground a bit in irritation. "This again." she mutters, then, pursing her lips, tries her luck. She extends her staff, and knocks politely on the wood, a casual rap-tap-tap knock, as if she was going to try and sell someone something... not using force has so far gotten SOME results, even if they were a tad unexpected.

Kina: The pile seems oddly solid despite its hap-hazard appearance. Another oddity is that there seems to be a separation at the middle of the pile, like it is two different sections.
Wil: You find scrape marks on the floor both to the north and south of the pile, as if something was slid back and forth periodically over an extended period of time.
Kina looks questioningly over at Wil, gesturing with her staff. She sticks her staff where she can get some leverage and tries to use it as a lever to pull the 'halves' apart.

The skeleton more staggers out of the way than dodges, and so the fight carries on.
Rachel, seeing the bard's wounds mostly close, instead focuses on Kina's injury, casting Cure Wounds for 4.
