The hallway extends southward for roughly 100' and turns left (East).  No sounds other than you footsteps can be heard.  30' from the bend, the hallway T's north and south.

Cade continues to trundle along at the back of the group. He is still in his brown bear form.

Kina still can't get what Emily said out of her head.
"If they're so afraid of those doors... that must mean that something the One fears is behind them, right? But then, that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense either. Why allow something in your own house that could threaten you... maybe I'm overthinking things..." she mumbles aloud, looking to the others for some kind of opinion.
"I mean, I suppose we have to clear everyplace eventually, don't we?"

Emily shakes her head at Kina's musings, "no, it has nothing to do with fear.  No one is afraid of the doors, there's just no reason to go near them.  No one likes to be near them, so why bother?"

(Based on your experience and her description, you get the sense that it is some sort of aversion or antipathy spell cast on the doors, and likely a very powerful one at that.)

"North or South, Bob? What lies in each direction?" asks Barnabus when they reach the T junction.

Bob pauses a moment, "north was prison cells, if I remember correctly, but the hallway continues to the Earth Temple.  South can lead to the Promenade and to the Earth Temple that way, too.  I'm assuming you are heading to the temple?"

"Not sure where we are headed." Cade says from the rear of the group. He is likely back in his halfling form by now, as the bear-form only lasts an hour or so I believe. "Earth temple sounds as good as anywhere though."

At the mention of cells Barnabus immediately heads in that direction. "Agreed Cade, Earth temple sounds good. And if we can release more prisoners on the way all the better." Declares Barnabhs.

Wil nods in agreement, "Seems like this place just keeps going and going doesn't it...."

Kina moves in close to Bob as they travel.
"You know anything about the doors Emily says she wants to avoid at all? I mean, I would expect that things have changed over the centuries but if it might help us help her, or at least dispel whatever magicks being used to enslave them..."
