After an hour of following signs through the tunnels, you come to a three-way intersection where a ladder leads up into a stone shaft capped by a circular metal cover. One of the familiar chalk symbols is marked on a wall nearby, and floating near the symbol is a spherical, grapefruit-sized creature with a bulging central eye and four stumpy eyestalks. It bares its teeth at you.
I need everyone to roll Initiative. If your turn is before the Gazer, go first.

Alberich takes out his Shortbow, and aims at the creature. But he waits for one of his new allies to step close enough to distract the thing before shooting.
Action: Ready an Attack on the Gazer, Trigger: ally within 5 feet of it

Alberich fires a shot and it misses wide. Demalis comes up and lands a strong hit with his staff. Before the Gazer can react, Demalis' elbow goes into its center eye and it drops dead.
The group is out of Initiative and there isn't anything else in the area. When they are ready, they have entered the sewers. Below is a map.
The group is in Q1. The main sewer tunnel expands into a circular hub with a pair of arrow slits carved into its outer walls, directly across from each other. Two passages continue on to the north and south. A stone door is set into the back wall of a stone ledge to the west.
Everyone roll a Perception Check.
