Twitch goes down into the tap room and finds a nice cushy spot to sleep. You're small enough to where you don't even disturb the work happening and the noises from the renovation don't seem to both you.

Demalis and Meep

Sybil and Lussa

Lussa as you look at the ad, you read the address is in the Castle Ward and to speak to Olivia Wands. The Castle Ward is South East of the North Ward where you're at and you'll have no trouble making it there.

Sybil knocks on the door, "We are here in regards to the request for an escort through the City of the Dead for young ones. I wish to learn details to create a correct plan,"

Rotthran

Rotthran, you trek to the Yawning Portal, a usual hangout of Davil Starsong. As you enter the building, you see Yagra Stonefist and a couple of Zhentarim bodyguards playing guards. Yarga regards you with a smile and points upstairs. As you glance up, you notice Davil resting in a purple silk chair next to the fire. When you approach, he smiles and says," Good day, Rotthran my boy. What can I do you for?"

Demalis and Meep

Demalis, with your Intelligence check, you remember seeing the drow gunslinger in the Dock Ward walk toward the ships, as well dropping off the handkerchief to Eze. The Dock Ward would be a good place to start.

Sybil and Lussa

You knock on the door, and it opens without a sound. Behind it is a dark-skinned woman wearing an orange and silver dress. "I'm Olivia Wands. You must be answering the ad."

As she waves the two of you in, she motions for you to sit and brings out some tea. You notice a tiefling boy and half-orc girl wearing Owl Bear Scout uniforms, which Lussa saw when she went to the lodge. The two regard you both with a nod before delving into books with skeletons on the front before writing notes.

Olivia adjusts a flower on the table before turning to both of you"As for the job, it involves my niece and nephew, I'd like you to escort my niece and nephew through the City of the Dead so they can complete their Alpha Scout project. They're going to install bird feeders near one of the crypts. They want to be brave and go through the City during the evening, but I just think it's better to do this during the day."

She stops and shakes her head. "My apologies, tell me about yourselves, why do you think you'd be good to escort my niece and nephew?"

When you answer, feel free to make a Persuasion check.

"I understand we have only been in Waterdeep for a short time, I believe two individuals I hope of great note, Raener Neverember and `Volothamp Geddarm are willing to attest to our combative abilities. We rescue Raener from a recent kidnapping after Volothamp tasked us to investigate," Sybil advocates the group's combative, "More recent, resolves several other more minor issue from intruders to the farm lands that surround the city and more recent, stopped the nightly bloodshed in the Docks Ward. Venturing into the City of Dead while protecting the children is well within our abilities,"

Lussa moves to stand behind Sybil's shoulder, and let's her do the talking.  She will give the children a smile and a wink when they look in her direction.

If Olivia seems to expect her to say something as well, she will ask if the children were at the knife throwing class today and offer to teach them the fundamentals of archery if it is okay with her.

Meep says "We could always go see the Owl Scout, J.B. Nevercott, or maybe...."  Intelligence check: 10

"Alright Davil, how are things?" Rotthran casually greets as he pulls up a chair and orders an ale. Quickly switching over to Thieves Cant, "Ya kna any bloke laryd Viper? I am oroen information." 

Sybil and Lussa

Olivia nods as she listens to Sybil. "Yes, yes, I read about your exploits in the farmlands. I have a couple of friends out there and they're appreciative of your help." She turns to Lussa," and you dear?"

OOC: We'll go with what Lussa asked about the knife throwing and archery.

"I'm sure they'd love that. Personally, I prefer shooting targets to throwing knives. Children, do you want to go with the nice women to the City of the Dead? Perhaps you can learn some archery too."

Both children look up and do the enthusiastic "yeah!"

Olivia smiles back at the two of you. "So what time do you want to take the children to the graveyard?"

Twitch, you're dreaming that you and the children are beating the Xanathar like a pinata. "You stupid children! When I get out of here, I'll ... ouch, ouch! That hurts."

"I refers to my colleague about date and time. If I may, which crypt to do they wish to hang birdfeeders? This is may assist in determining when we depart for it with the kids," Sybil questions as she guesture to Lussa. 

 Rotthran finishes off his ale and leaves a silver as a tip, "Good to see you again Davil," he waves as he exits the tavern and onto the next clue. Castle Ward.
