Sydril tries to back up from the trap and trips on her own feet falling right on her butt and taking a blast of fire. "Not going to venture that again." She mumbles as she scoots to the side of the door, picking of pieces of charred cloth from her shirt. "My apologies." She says to the group in a subdued voice.
Starting at 2nd level, you can magically exert limited control over the flow of time around a creature. As a reaction, after you or a creature you can see within 30 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can force the creature to reroll. You make this decision after you see whether the roll succeeds or fails. The target must use the result of the second roll.

Morrigan moves forward again warily, "Everyone step back!" She opens her book and reads a bit about magic traps before attempting to disarm the fire one. Arcana 21
As Sydril had properly worked 2 of the 3 tumblers on the fire trap, Morrigan is able to move the final tumbler in place without tripping it once again. A small puff of smoke makes everyone jump, but no flames shoot forth again.

Morrigan braves it again, working the levers on one of the strange clockwork traps. A moment in, she knew she'd made a mistake as an audible click is heard following by a swooshing sound as a large scythe-like blade slashes down at her from the nearby wall.
Scythe Blade Attack: 19 Damage: 1
After the blade is tripped, though, the trap is sprung. So, yay?
Camilla begins working on another of the clockwork traps. Cautiously looking it over, she realizes, "Hey, this goes here and that goes there!" Some kind of sonic-based trap is disarmed!

In true, Gnomish nerd fashion, Zook studies the final puzzle, using his mage hand to push the levers in the correct spots. A brief burst of super cold air emits as a cone of cold fizzles. With a loud creak, the door swings open. Beyond the entrance is a small room filled with a bright light. Coins lie in piles amongst other various tomes, art objects and ancient bottles of wine. Atop the pile of coins, a sword lies. A strange dull grey door is set into the opposite wall.

As Morrigan's spell fails she turns to run then stops as Zook succeeds. Thankfully running got her far enough away to avoid the main burst of flames.

Tarak dives to the side as the flame trap explodes.
