Gruntor will rise and move towards the giant with the dash action, standing behind him.

The giant continues to run (disengage and move) with unnatural speed and throws a stalactite from the cave ceiling at Nasaar.

Nasaar is just able to dodge the thrown rock.

Gruntor will run after him, he only get's 30 feet but has a 10' range with is long gangly arms....

Nasaar shoots at the giant before retreating from it some more.

Force cannon to hit: 7 Damage: 13

Narancala darts towards the giant, pulling up to hurl a mote of fire at him.

Attack: 22 Damage: 8 fire

Similarly, the firebolg runs after the giant, calling fire to his hand and throwing it at the giant's back.

Attack: 17 Damage: 3 fire

The combined attacks bring down the giant. He crashes to the cave floor before getting out of the cave.

The firebolg gives a sigh of relief, sending Narancala to keep an eye on him and make sure he's really down, before moving to Nasaar.

"What's in the other room? You see who he was talking to?"

"Some crystal." Nasaar says with a shrug. "Likely someone who is not really here." Nasaar moves to the downed giant and starts to search it for anything of value or interest.

Investigation: rolled an 18, plus 1 from guideance.

Since Nasaar doesn't seem concerned with the other room, the firebolg will go with him, using his giantkin strength to help shift the body so his companion can better loot the corpse.

((Counts as large for lifting, can lift 840 lbs., if this is able to confer advantage to Nasaar?))

On the giant, you find:

• +1 Longsword
• Bag of holding
• Manual of Clay Golems (crumpled but still intact).

Gruntor eyes the longsword, which is clearly better than his.  He will approach the crystal but will stay about 10 feet from it.

Nasaar tosses the longsword to Gruntor. "You can likely make more use of that than I can." He says. Pulling the manual and bag out, he attaches the latter to his belt and throws the manual in his pack. "Ready to look at that crystal a bit closer?" He asks.

What exactly do you to the crystal?

Gruntor specifically stands back from it.  Be smrat clearly not his forte.  He will test swing the new sword while keeping and eye on it.
