Initiative score for Vampire and Vampire Umbral Lord both seem off; it says +14 (24) but there is nothing in the description or stat block that explains this high score. I expect that it should be +4 (14)
EDIT: it appears to be this high on many Legendary monsters, something like expertise on initiative? Is that defined somewhere?
What's up with the Wraith? It's life drain used to trigger a saving throw and the maximum HP were restored after a long rest. Now there is no saving throw (pretty big buff to the creature) and it doesn't say if/when you get your maximum HP back (crazy big buff if this isn't a mistake). You could technically have a Level 20 barbarian running around with 1 HP maximum.
the 2024 version of Long Rest by default restores your Maximum HP to normal now.
I have the same Problem as other people here. If I want to access anything from the Monster Manual I get redirected to the shop. I have Master Tier and my entitlements are in sync. Super annoying and not what I paid for...
Kua-toa monitor and kua-toa whip are flipped around
the monitor for some reason has the whip attack the whip doesn't have a whip attack, but the pincer staff that is shown in the monitor statblock
Weirdly, I think that's intended, if counter-intuitive.
The servants of kuo-toa archpriests, kuo-toa whips—so named for their role in enforcing order among other kuo-toa—lead war bands in carrying out the commands of their superiors. In return for their zeal, these kuo-toa are granted minor magical abilities and pincerlike weapons for subduing foes.
Archpriests bless monitors with the power to control their underlings and to subdue foes with electricity channeled through their bizarre whips.
Bugbears appear to be missing the "long-limbed" trait to explain the 5 extra feet of reach in their attack descriptions. If you are giving them the benefit of that trait based on their racial profile from an earlier edition, please spell it out.
Otherwise, it looks like you gave a medium-sized monster a 10-foot reach as a typo.
For anyone unable to access the book, I'd recommend checking this page to make sure: - Your account entitlements are in sync. (If not, there should be a button to sync them.) - You have an active Master Tier subscription. (Hero Tier gets early access on the 11th, and everyone else gets access on release day, the 18th.) - You have that book listed under Current Product Licenses. (If not, you haven't preordered the book or haven't entered your redemption code.)
I already contacted customer support, but they only said the same thing and to delete cookies/try another device, but it is clearly something broken in the system, that we cannot access what we paid for as Master Tier Subscriber...
Pushing 10+ hours now with no access on a pre-order.
When I try to look at my subscription from the subscription tab, I get this:
For clarity, I am unable to access across multiple devices, multiple browsers, etc.
I'd recommend checking here for your current subscription status. (Signing out and back in may otherwise solve the error on that page, though.)
Able to see subscription status there, but still unable to access the book.
If I go into my account, it shows under Licenses that I have the authorization for the 2024 MM. If I use the Beyond App, it doesn't show it. If I use the website, it directs back to the marketplace.

That matches the physical book.
Thank you for replying. That was quick!
If it matches the physical book, then you might have an errata candidate. The problem is that it invokes the benefits of the long-limbed trait from Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse (or Wildemont) without actually saying that's why they have that reach. Without the trait or some other pointer about the reach, some GMs will miss the feature or think it was a mistake (for instance, it wasn't there in the 2014 basic rules).
Even if it's just errata, someone should make note of the extra reach as a deliberate decision.
Where can I view the Tiger and Panther statblocks from the PHB that have the Prowl ability? Even when going to the monster appendix inside of the PHB, it still shows the altered tiger and panther statblocks that only have nimble escape from the Monster Manual.
Public Mod Note
(spamandtuna):
This appears to be intentional

Adding to this… The issue appears to only occur in my downloaded version.
Digital version of MM Stat Block Overview Vampire Familiar has overlapped text.

Same problem, I can't access what I paid for.

It was already fixed on the website. May take a short while before there's an update in the app.

This seems to be a common issue for anyone using Beyond 20 (which is not supported by D&D Beyond).

That’s on purpose. They are mostly removing traits that just say why a monster has a thing about their attacks.
Missed that. Thank you.
