What Prowl ability are you referring to? The panther in the PHB is identical to the one in the MM. Neither one has a Prowl ability, nor did they have one in the 2014 core rulebooks.
The Cultist Hierophant has AC 16, but with Dex 18 and Mage Armor as per spellcasting trait, it should have AC 17. It also has Breastplate gear, which would match its AC, but then Mage Armor doesn't make sense.
That’s on purpose. They are mostly removing traits that just say why a monster has a thing about their attacks.

I figured it's better to try than to just shrug and ignore it. However, it is easier to accept as an omission if it's consistent with a larger decision.

I also am having problems accessing the Monster Manual. I have filed a ticket with support and they told me to just "wait for the changelog." I have entitlements synced, I have the right subscription tier, my order history confirms I bought it. I really don't understand, I was able to access the players handbook and the dungeon master's guide just fine.

I’ve seen some folks have the same issue as me where they bought the book but can’t access it or even have it pop up on their app or browser. Most posts are a day old but I was wondering if anyone was able to fix it or get some answer from support? They’ve been less than helpful on my end lol.
I still don't have access. I bought the 2024 Monster Manual yesterday, but links to the pages and new monsters still redirect to the order page (which shows that I own the book).
I have Master Tier and the subscription is active.

Someone replied this afternoon, writing, "We have manually applied a fix to your account's entitlements and this should allow you to access your content." It had no effect.
they are aware of the issue, it just sucks that it sounds like the issue is on their end and we are kind of caught in limbo.
My app hasn't updated and I also get redirected to the marketplace, it also doesn't help I have a game to run tomorrow after work and was hoping to use some of the new stat blocks.

It's a bit annoying, got the same generic replies, even telling me to do things (clear cache, fix entitlements) I already specified were not working for me. Waiting for a real fix.

What I can add to conversation is the strange "subscription detection" by the system.The website it seems not identify the subscription, it ask me to subscribe everytime. When I enter in my profile to check, the system see I am enrolled in the Master Tier but for some reason I am logged out, link: Subscription Problem. Everytime I go on the subscription page I am logged out, when I go in the others I am in again.
I askes for a refund of the MM, since it always redirected me to the store. And they granted it. I am not sure if I try to buy it again or wait a few days.

Most 2024 monsters used in Maps have the spells links in their stats refer to 2014 spells (certainly the 2024 yuan-ti)
There appears to be some copypasta on the stat blocks for Hobgoblins - the longbow attacks have Poison damage attached, with no explanation as to why?
To be clear, I only use the official D&D Beyond app on iPad. I do not use Beyond 20 and never have.

Neither Maps encounters or the encounter builder respect the initiative modifier for the new 2024 monsters.
