Crooked Moon Subclass Issue

I bought Crooked Moon as they said ‘fully compatible with 2014 rules’ on DDB. Now it has been changed on the product description. I also thought that this meant that the subclasses would be compatible with 2014 rules. I was led to believe that everything would work with both 2014 and 2024 rules.

I made sure to sync my entitlements on DDB, but that also did not fix the issue.

Does anyone know how to fix it? Is it a glitch?

I’m not able to reproduce this. Can you give a specific example of a species with this error? Where specifically does it say “Humanoid”?

 I personally saw it with Graveborn, one of my players said they also saw it with Relicborn and Gnarlborn. But the only one I can confirm is Graveborn, as I am still looking at the character I was working on.

Graveborn race says its an Undead, but on the Species selector, and on the Species Traits it says Humanoid. Linked character below

I also noticed that for the "Horned king warlock" the ability "Malediction" has different curses that you can hit an enemy with but it shows up on your own saving throws.

 I am having the same issue. Licenses are synced but it's not giving me any extra class options.

There's an issue with the "Grave keeper" feat that increases your spell save DC by a LOT mine instantly went from 13 to 24. 

Also for the "Dread speech" feat it gives you a spell to cast once per day and then you can use spell slots BUT on the sheet it says  you can cast it "At will"

How do I do that? 

For future reference, if you check the "Initial" post, it provides instructions on how to sync your entitlements to provide you with access to your purchases, under "Syncing Entitlements".  go into your Account, and you should see a tab saying "licenses".  Click that and you should see a button saying to Sync Your Entitlements.  Click that.  You should see a small pop-up on the screen about your entitlements being synced.  Don't worry if it still says your entitlements are not in sync, even after getting the pop-up saying they are.  It's a common issue.

From there, close out of the app on whatever you are using it and open it back up.  It should be synced back up and ready to go for downloading and use, as well as use on the browser.  I hope that helped.

Keep in mind, the claims of its compatibility with the 2014 rules was decidedly over-sold, and if you check the marketplace they've actually REMOVED mentions of such.  The species should work with 2014 classes, but the subclasses are locked to the 2024 versions.

The module originally was written for 2014 rules, so 2014 versions of the subclasses exist. They don't reference any new rules and they also don't all start at level 3, like the 2024 stuff. 

Did dndbeyond not receive both versions of the pbh and adventure? Maybe there is some sort of miscommunication, cause it very much seemed like it was intended to be compatible with both.

 Everyone’s having this issue to require seems to be affecting a lot of people how many of you preordered or are using mobile, or have a mastered your subscription those are all the things I have and it doesn’t work for me even when I re sync the licenses

 I'm not sure then if it's an issue with specifically my account. I've tried this on multiple characters and it always increases the spell save DC. The classes I've tried it on have been: Crimson Sorcerer, Grave Domain Cleric, Harvest Domain Cleric, Shadow Magic Sorcerer and College of Creation Bard. Here's even an example of before and after on Grave Domain Cleric. 

I’m using 2024 I tried both bard and barbarian they don’t work

I've also tried multiple 2024 classes and Dark Bargains aren't appearing. Tried it with Crooked Moon Subclasses active as well to see if that would make a difference but no joy.
