For the Monster Hunter, a flat +2 bonus to damage is being added when you are wielding a melee weapon, regardless of proficiency in that weapon.
I'm not able to reproduce this by just creating a level 20 Monster Hunter. Are there any other steps I need to take?
I'm embarrassed to say it was because I overlooked the dueling fighting style I picked for the PC!
In the initial post for this thread, it says the Monster Hunter is mostly supported except for the Monster Grimoire & Improved Monster Grimoire. Is there supposed to be mechanical support for the Level 5: Expert Strike feature? I don't see a way to enable the benefit in the character sheet. I can manually add the +INT mod to attack/damage, but was wondering if mechanical support was intended.
Just curious but do we blame Ghostfire for saying it would be Beyond integrated during the Kickstarter or Beyond itself? Did Beyond mislead Ghostfire or did Ghostfire mislead Kickstarter backers?
