ENABLING CONTENT FOR YOUR CHARACTER
To use content from Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting: Part 2 in the character builder, you will need to set the character preferences to include Loot Tavern source category (see the .gif below).
NEW SUBCLASSES
This book features five new subclasses:
Bard: College of Cuisine
Cleric: Hunt Domain
Ranger: Trapper
Sorcerer: Skinshifter
Warlock: The Parasite
These subclasses are supported and are compatible with 5e and 5.5e characters.
Tamer. We will not be including the Tamer class in the Compendium content for Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting: Part 2 or in the Character Builder due to the site's current tech limitations. This was a joint decision between Wizards and Loot Tavern.
NEW SPECIES
The book features five new species:
Lotol
Mycelian
Ombrask
Oozekin
Opteran
These species are fully supported and are compatible with 5e and 5.5e characters.
NEW SPELLS
The book features over 55 spells. These spells are mostly supported with the following exception:
School of Biomancy. This book includes a new school of magic called Biomancy. At this time D&D Beyond cannot support new schools of magic. The spell listings for these spells use the alternative schools of magic presented in the book and include a tag for "Biomancy".
NEW MAGIC ITEMS
The book features 46 magic items with over 100 variations. These magic items are mostly supported with the following exceptions:
Actions on Magic Items. Some of the new magic items grant specific actions as part of their magic. D&D Beyond doesn’t currently support the ability to attach actions directly to magic items; we have included charges and associated spells where appropriate, but in the case that an item’s functionality is otherwise text-only, we recommend creating Custom Actions on the character sheet to represent those items.
NEW MUNDANE ITEMS
The book features 14 mundane items with 13 being weapons. These weapons, including the three weapon properties unique to Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting, are fully supported with one exception:
Special Properties. Some of the weapons include special properties unique to that weapon. At this time D&D Beyond cannot support these special properties within the character sheet. Each listing does include the text for special properties for ease of reference.
NEW MONSTERS
The book features 45 monster stat blocks. These monsters are supported.
NEW MAPS WITH QUICKPLAY
The book features 6 maps used throughout 5 adventures. Each map is supported with Quickplay for each variation of party level.
AVRAE
At the time of release this book is not supported through the discord bot, Avrae.
Not sure if I'm missing something on the character builder, but I chose Ombrask as a race for a new character then Human as it's previous life. It correctly applied the +2 Dex automatically to the ability scores, but there's no option for the floating +1 to another ability score to be applied.

Is the new Eldritch Invocation supported?
The Longspike weapon is listed in the system as both an uncommon and a very rare version of ammunition, and not as a Rapier.

D&D Beyond StaffThis should be fixed now if you re-add them to your sheet - thank you for the callout!
As I don't see it available when choosing the new subclass

The spells for Cleric: Hunt Domain do not appear in the known spell list, not the 2024, nor the 2014 versions.
