RELEASE NOTES
Journey across the Western Frontier, the contested land that lies between the kingdom of Breland and the monster nation of Droaam. ENABLING CONTENT FOR YOUR CHARACTER
To use content from Frontiers of Eberron: Quickstone in the character builder, you will need to set the character preferences to include Visionary Production and Design Inc. source category (see the .gif below).
PURCHASING OPTIONS
Apple Store purchasing is currently unavailable but in processing. Purchasing is available on the D&D Beyond website and in the Android Play Store. Purchasing via one location will make the content available in all locations.
SUBCLASSES
This book features 6 new subclasses. These are supported.
SPECIES
This book features 5 new species and 7 new lineages for the Tiefling. These are mostly supported, with the following notes:
FEATS
This book features 15 new feats. These are supported.
BACKGROUNDS
This book features 5 new backgrounds. These are supported, with the following notes:
MONSTERS
This book features 24 new monsters. These are mostly supported, with the following notes:
SPELLS
This book features 7 spells. Some of these were originally featured in the Elemental Evil Player’s Companion and Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, and have been updated to the new standards established in the 2024 Player's Handbook. These spells are supported, with the following note:
MAGIC ITEMS
This book features 34 new magic items. These are generally supported, with the following notes:
MAPS
This book features 12 new maps, including 9 Quickplay encounters.
Gnoll is not listed as a species at https://www.dndbeyond.com/species and it is the only species that does not have a picture.
Orien Step should probably be available to all spell casting classes since the Mark of Passage isn't exclusive to Sorcerers and Artificers
This is an interesting change from the DmsGuild PDF. In the PDF, the only way to get this cantrip was from the Orien Mark of Passage dragonmark. If it is marked as an Artificer and Sorcerer spell in the DndBeyond version, that means that a sorcerer or an artificer can access that cantrip without having the dragonmark. So this is actually an upgrade.
This is not a rules change, this is a system limitation. On DDB spells must be assigned to a spell list to work in the database. However Orien Step isn't on a spell list, it's just available to a specific background. DDB has had to kludge a fix to put it on a spell list that it's not actually on to make it work.
Sorcerers and Artificers cannot pick Orien Step RAW without the appropriate dragonmark background, this is just a DDBism to make it work in the system. This is identical to how Encode Thoughts was handled—a spell tied to a specific background and no spell list, but they had to put it on the wizard spell list to make it work

On the app (not sure about the site) all the magic items just have [Tool Tip Not Found] instead of names
The spells prepared as Medusa using the Shadows Gift of Stone feat are not displayed, nor is the option to cast them once without a spell slot.
That's not how the feature works
The feature doesn't grant you the spells, it adds them to your spell list so you can learn them

I'm not talking about the Medusa feature Shadow's Magic. I mean the General Feat Shadow's Gift of Stone https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/foeq/chapter-4-frontier-characters#heading--Shadows-Gift-of-Stone
The Warlock subclass "Stone Sovereign Patron" does not show all spells given at level 3 as prepared. Earthbind and Earth Tremor are not showing on the prepared spell list. I double checked by copying the subclass and they were never added to the subclass spell list. Also, it appears that the reprinted spells are being added as their 2014 versions, not the updated ones from this book.
Also, is the subclasses feature "Form of Stone" mislabeled as a level 3 feature? Reason is that Warlocks get a subclass feature at level 6 and this particular subclass does not, yet has four features at 3.
