Can confirm this. Just spent an hour texting back and forth with a player trying to get this to work. In the end, I had to start an unassigned character, get through the class portion, then get him to claim it.
So at least there’s a workaround?
EDIT: of course I didn’t hit Quote when I replied. This is in regards to shotagonist’s post near the top:
“Content sharing doesn't seem to work with the Eberron book yet, our DM has content sharing enabled but this book is inaccessible to our group.”
If you find that content is not being shared correctly, please get the person with the subscription to disable sharing on the campaign, then enable it again.
I found that the snippet for Vigilant Guardian for Mark of Sentinel is incorrect in the Features & Traits section of the character sheet. It is still using the UA description.
The aberrant dragon mark tool tip appears correctly but when viewing it on the charecter sheet it says
"you can use one of your Hit Dice to increase the spell’s level by 1. Immediately after you cast the spell, roll the Hit Die. You take damage equal to the number rolled."
I see the Battle Smith "Repeating Shot" infusion now works properly with firearms -- the ones in the DMG are shown as options when creating the infusion. If you have Critical Role content enabled, should it work with the firearms described in the Gunslinger class?
Technically those don't have the "ammunition" property, they have the "reload" property, so I suppose it's intentional that Mercer's unofficial rules for firearms don't work with the artificer infusion. If that is deliberate it's a bit unfortunate that a lot of games using firearms will be using those firearm rules and be unable to do this, since the official artificer needs to be worded in such a way that meshes with the only other official mention of firearms (the DMG).
In the app, I feel like those articles from newspapers should have a background. They are just inserted into the text and is very jarring. None of the other books do this without a background (android app)
I cannot see it in the compendium app. It shows as purchased in the marketplace but it is not on the list to download. When I pull down to refresh it says cannot update source catalog.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and same issue.

Has anyone had issues with not being able to select an Artificer Specialist? Selecting Infusions works, but when i try to pick a Specialist nothing populates in the dropdown. I have purchased the Eberron book in the store.
I rolled up a 6th level Mark of Warding Dwarf Artificer Battle Smith and everything came up just fine. Not a huge fan of the Steel Defender being an Extra as it's a bit 'out of sight, out of mind'. When you export an Artificer Battle Smith, your Steel Defender doesn't print off, nor is there a good way to get it to print off. But, the infusions work great so I'm okay with it as a first draft.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's currently a better way to display "statblocks associated with a character" (e.g. for Wild Shape forms, polymorph forms, familiars, homunculi, etc.). I think the bigger issue in that regard is that there's no ideal "printable" format for monster/NPC statblocks in general on D&D Beyond right now.
Can't pick the Artificer class in character cration :/
Do you own Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron or Eberron: Rising from the Last War?
I am in a capaign where both are shared and I have enabled the Eberron option in character creation, but no Artificer is available. I can choose the artificer if I create a character through the campaign window, but not through my own "Create character"

That is correct - this is how content sharing within a campaign works.

Have the owners of the content disabled content sharing for the campaign, and then re-enabled it? I saw that in a post a while back. I guess that is the fix for adding new content to an existing campaign.

In short, do YOU have the content. If you do not own the content then you cannot make the character outside of the campaign where someone else owns that content.
if you yourself do not own the content of Wayfinders Guide to Eberron or Eberron:Rising from the Last War, you will not be able to create a character that requires elements from those books.
The exception to this is if you are in a campaign where someone owns those Books and content sharing is enabled, in which case someone is sharing the content of those books with you allowing you to create an Artificer.
Just checked and my iPhone app is showing them steadily. I didn't have to download them again either.
Please take a look at my homebrewed Spells, Magic Items, and Subclasses. Any feedback appreciated.

not sure it had been reported or not, but
my artificer's force ballista adds my spellcasting modifier for damage. p sure it wasnt supposed to.

There's an issue with defining that ability - it's why it wasn't set to appear as an attack. 😥
