Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but even after choosing Djinni on a Genie Warlock the other genie types' expanded spells are still in my spell list and available to learn. I was wondering how I got access to Fireball and Sleet Storm.
Should offer refunds if you dont put everything thats in the book and just say homebrew it. It would be very easy to implement Custom lineage since it takes no time to homebrew. If I am paying for something I dont like it to be half assed because of arbitrary reasons.
Absolutely. Only reason I bought the digital copy was for this one function
Primal Awareness does not show up on the character sheet when applied.
The spells appear on your spell list (they'll have 'Primal Awareness' typed under the spell name) but the class feature does not show up when you are in the Features & Traits menu of your character sheet.
The spells added from Shadow Touched(Intelligence) are not castable using spell slots. They are added to my spell list as a "Use" but not also as a "Cast" and I also can't cast them at a higher level using a higher level spell slot.
This is also true of other options that function in a similar manner, such as the Fey Touched feat and the Primal Awareness Ranger feature.
Since these features offer one "free" use of each spell per long rest and then allow you to cast them again with spell slots. Ideally the "Use" button should be replaced with a "Cast" button once clicked and these spells should be available for up-casting as you know the spells.
Oddly, while the Artificer Initiate feat functions in the same manner, the 1st level spell you learn from it is set to be "at will" rather than having a "Use" or "Cast" button. This is incorrect as the second bullet point specifies: once per day for free, otherwise can be cast using spell slots.
When selecting origin ability score increases for the Genasi sub races you are only able to currently change the +2 con bonus. The unique +1 ability increase for each sub race cannot currently be changed.
How do I get access to the spells that were given to classes, like Protection from Evil and Good for Druids or Aura of Vitality for Clerics? I'm not seeing them as options to select on my characters currently. I've bought the spells and feats digital bundles of the book already. Thanks
IS it possible to create us a "Generic humanoid" or Variant Humanoid race for character creation for : Custom Lineage ?
EG:
Pick an Attribute
Pick a feat (feat drop down)
VAriable trait: Pick between Darkvision or a skill (drop down with both options) .
Language drop down?
Would be a lot easier for both DM's and players to pick that in character creation VS create a home brew. manually add everything then in character creation manually add ASI's plus feat.
Looks like when using the feature variants for Ranger, the deft explorer features aren't showing up at 6th level. And when you replaced favored foe with favored enemy, at level 6 it is still giving you favored foe options accidentally.
Hey, so I see the line on here that says to use the existing homebrew tools to make the custom lineage work, but I am having two problems. One, if I am creating or editing a character with a home brew race, I cannot change that race if the addition options feature is turned on. And 2, when I try to use the additional option feature, it won’t let me use it on a homebrew race. I tried to find an option within the race creation page to allow this feature but I couldn’t find anything. Any tips?
Artificer's Enhanced Defense and Weapon aren't scaling at 10th level (despite the sheet saying the bonus is now +2, it's not displaying in the AC or the weapon attack roll).
And then Repulsion Shield doesn't add +1 to the normal shield bonus.

That arbitrary reason is the finite nature of time and resources. It might not take a lot of time to do just that one thing, but it was clearly deprioritized so they could attend to so many other new features.
Keep an eye on this thread and you'll see a well-coordinated team working on rolling out what is clearly a major overhaul of their system.
As someone who's replaced major systems in my own career, trust me when I say that several of these people have probably not had a moment to breathe in the last 17 hours, unless they're strategically tagging in and out.

Yeah I can say my earlier complaint (not being able to access the optional class features) has already been corrected for me.
Sure, in an ideal world everything would work perfectly instantly, but we absolutely don't live in an ideal world, so they best we can hope for is them working as hard as they can to fix stuff, and I see no reason to assume they aren't doing that.

Fey Wanderer adds its subclass spells to the list of available spells to take instead of being automatically added to the character.
With the ranger, at the moment the level 6 and level 10 deft explorer features do not appear on the character sheet or character creation menu.

For the ranger, the 6th and 14th level favored enemy enhancements/options continue to show up despite replacing the feature with Favored Foe.

The 6th level Favored enemy is still an option even when you select Favored Foe to replace it at 1st level
