Has he suppressed the Hunter so much that he no longer has a Barbarian level? lol But that makes sense...I feel like that could be the best representation of his character to date. I can't wait to see other Legendary characters stats...I don't know but I really love to see them...

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.
Especially not only Drizzt; I would love to see other characters as well.
Blackstaff!!! Also, Artemis Entreri...not only because he's one of my favorite characters but also because I named my best friend and faithful pup after him...and Captain Deudermont...lol Artemis Deudermont...lol

As others have pointed out elsewhere, I can confirm that the Drizzt stats shown in the video announcement are not official - they were for display purposes only!

Well it is a question to ask WOTC. Who knows, maybe they have a plan to release a 5ed FR guide.
Hall of Heroes in 2nd Edition also has this little tidbit that is often overlooked by players and DM's.
"So accurate are his wicked cuts, that if Drizzts' "to hit" roll exceeds the minimum required for a hit by more than 5, he scores double weapon damage and has a base 10%, plus or minus 3% per level difference between him and his opponent, chance of killing the foe instantly." Hall of Heroes, page 19.
So basically he rolls 5 more than he needs to hit your AC and it is a crit and could possibly kill you outright. It is better to treat him as a special Monster from the Manual rather than a player character class. Some things just don't transfer well to classes.
Especially not only Drizzt; I would love to see other characters as well.
How about everybody's (2nd?) favorite drow, Jarlaxle? Or my personal favorite, Pikel Bouldershoulder. Or Cadderly Bonaduce. Or any of the Harpells, really.

Please do not encourage Adohand's player any further - he's already hard enough to deal with at the table.

Just every Salvatore character...lol

I already named the leader of the barbarians in my game after him, so... Sorry Badeye, you can't stop an avalanche! :P

I need Larloch's stats for 5e. Does anyone know where to find it?
He's one of the characters referred to above in "Doesn't transfer to 5E mechanics".
He was a 26th level Wizard in 2E.
He was a 20th level Wizard with 12 additional Epic levels in 3E.
So he would be, at the minimum, a Lich (but a 20th level spellcaster, not an 18th level spellcaster, and bump the Intelligence from 20 to 30) with a dozen epic boons (see page 231 of the DMG) as well as permanent modifications gained via Wish, and is never ever ever without a good two dozen Ioun Stones orbiting his head, plus whatever other unique magical items / spells the DM wants him to have.
And that's at the start of 5E. In one of Greenwood's books, he finishes one of his middle-term plots, and makes a play to replace a returning Mystra as the Deity of magic and controller of the Weave, absolutely wrecking Candlekeep in the process, and almost pulled it off. At that power level, stats become meaningless.

In 5ed the mechanics of the level has changed a bit compared to 2nd or 3rd editions. Now Technically there are no epic levels. After level 20 you just get some epic boon.

According to the youtube video of D&D Beyond, Drizzt Do'Urden if a Fighter 11/Ranger 8. Nice.
Is that for 5E?
In 4E, he was a 21st level Skirmisher.
In 3E he was a 10th level Fighter, 5th level Ranger, 1st level Barbarian.
In 2E he was a 16th level Ranger.
In 1E he was a 10th level Ranger.

Or Elminister and those of the Seven Sisters still alive.
Or pretty much any PC still alive in 5E that was around for 1E, 2E, or 3E.

The only famous character released so far is:
Mordenkainen, from Greyhawk, he appears in Curse of Strahd. He has the statistic of an Archmage.
He was a 26th level Wizard in 2E.
He was a 20th level Wizard with 12 additional Epic levels in 3E.

I'm a little surprised they didn't add Drizzt to Out of the Abyss, since he was specifically marketed with the adventure.
Be careful what you Wish for... your DM may just give it to you!
