Starting this thread for all you bookworms out there (myself included)! I absolutely LOVE reading, and the moment I started looking into D&D more, I thought to myself, "Surely there's no way that there aren't actual published stories set in these worlds and campaigns, regardless of whether they're fanfiction or official!"
So, drop your favourite D&D stories, be they fanfics or whatever! Even threads to previous or ongoing campaigns that you'd like to share with everyone! I've always believed that crowdsourcing is the way to go when looking for reading material, so let's see what you guys can come up with!

Disclaimer: I'm not an optimizer. If I say something that's not fine-tuned to perfection, that's on purpose. D&D isn't an online tournament, it's a TTRPG where your imagination and the DM's compliance are the limits. I don't do "metas". If I can have fun with my thematically cool and still viable (both in and out of combat) concept, I'm happy. I'm not going for optimal stats; I'm going for optimal fun.
There's also a writer who used to and still does occasionally write for Gizmodo, Rob Bricken, if you google his name and D&D you'll find his ongoing reviews of dungeons and dragons novels, which are fun reads and do I think a great job as to which ones are worth reading.
But the community does a great job here regaling each other with war stories and campaign narratives etc.

Story Hour | EN World Tabletop RPG News & Reviews has some of the oldest and most original campaign narratives, such as Shemeska's Planescape Story hour, and Tales of Wyre. (My current writings are on this site as well).

I just started this one, I'll probably go back over and edit the post tomorrow or later next week to improve the writing quality a bit, but it is basically the session notes from the campaign I am DMing. Just having some fun with it you know?

You can bet your butt that I'm gonna be reading this every time it updates! Well edited and high-quality fanfics and published novels are awesome, but there's something about the "Monty Python-ness" of an actual campaign that would never make it into one of those and yet make it sooo much better at the same time!
