Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.

I assume you know that wakai also means young? Or is it a different kanji?
This looks pretty cool! The only thing I might say is that your earthen hammer should probably do at least a d10 damage. 1d8 is too weak for a spell that has the range of touch... I might come up with other suggestions later.

1. Yes, it can mean young; in this case, I was thinking 和界. World of peace, though the “peace” often also means Japanese culture. Best I could come up with. It’s not exactly peaceful, but taking from Japan’s old name 倭国, (Wakoku), it seems to fit.

Yes, Japan. Since there currently isn’t a Wuxia setting...

1. Yes, if I can find the source material.
2. Haven’t found a group, but I’m going to run a home game with it. Hopefully it’ll help with playtesting.

I made this setting based off of Japanese folklore and mythology. This thread is for feedback. Here’s the link to the document:

2. Yeah, I should probably do that, thank you.
