I'm trying to figure out the most efficient way to add spells to the known spells list for a Draconic Sorcerer subclass that emulates the Origin spells the new Tasha's subclasses receive.
I am presently trying to do it via feat, but the spells I added via feat have two issue I'm not sure can be overcome with this method:
1. the spells all show "at will" casting ability, rather than "Cast" and therefore don't consume a spell slot when used. 2. all the spells added show up even outside the player's current casting level (not terrible, just would rather it shows up when the player hits the appropriate level).
I'm build a lot of this off the magic initiate feat. Do I just need to suck it up and create a homebrew Draconic Sorcerer or is there another way to do this?
