Are lawful good celestials capable of resurrecting a character in the party? They're going to encounter one in a couple sessions and rather than have them backtrack all the way out of the dungeon and find someone to perform a resurrection spell, could a celestial do that for them?
taking a glance at the DDB monsters (celestials tab) i'd say you're looking for an angel of some sort (Deva? Planetar?). don't trust a rules-as-writen unicorn, ki-rin, or couatl to pack that sort of power on their own. of course, if that creature is representing a higher power, even one that's as of yet a mystery to your characters, then just like a priest or cleric they might have access to spells you need (and a higher CR than listed, just saying).
Ultimately, you're the DM. You can massage any stat block to make a creature do what you need it to do. If you want a minor celestial to be able to cast Revivify once a lifetime or six times a day, you have the prerogative to make it capable of exactly that.
To me, it's perfectly reasonable that a celestial would be able to perform a miracle given the right circumstances. And if you're worried your players will take advantage of it, the great thing about miracles is that they don't happen often.
As theology of bagels said, If you’re the DM, and you want them to, then they can. It’s that simple.
I’d add that if it were my campaign, there would be a price attached. Lawful Good or no, everyone wants something. And turning it from a simple deus ex machina into a plot hook makes the whole interaction more interesting.

unhappy at the way in which we lost individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
tell them you don't like features disappeared quietly in the night: provide feedback!
