I'm looking to throw my players into a realm where hundreds of different realities have collided. I want to throw together some of their favourite characters/monsters from things such as lotr, star wars, harry potter and such. I'm not having too difficult a time finding homebrew monsters for the adventure but I am having an extremely difficult time finding some of the more memorable main characters. Does anyone know where I could find such things?
The best part about 5e stats... find a monster/diety/whatever that has a similar difficulty, and leach the stats that make sense. Home brewing monsters and encounters does take a little getting used to, but its something you get much better at as time goes.
Just remember that if the memorable characters in question don't have to actually interact with the party much, you don't need to over-think their stats. If they see a woman with dark hair tied up in buns in a white dress flitting about trying to escape evil soldiers, you won'd need her stats if they never catch up to her.

You could try and make them yourself, or find a monster or NPC that seems like you could just change a few things around and call it something else.
